Beautiful shots. I also see Jupiter Station?

A station of the same design, this one is near the moon.
Maybe they moved it away from Jupiter in an emergency just like they moved Deep Space Nine from Bajor in order to claim and secure the wormhole? It must have good thrusters… :D

Well, by TPTB own admission, it's already derivative of another Star Trek character. What's one more uninspired plot log on the fire?

The Big Bad with Khan-level abilities just HAPPENS to get into Starfleet and just HAPPENS to worm their way into being Seven's boss.

It has too many contrivances to be believable. :shifty:

I see them being killed rather than being the Big Bad.

To be fair, there is precedent for this, though.

And the obvious storyline here would be the overly analytical pragmatist-to-a-fault goes rogue does evil thing despite the best intentions. Not original by any means, but there's at least a lot of potential for depth beyond what they've given us so far. Part of me want to believe that someone dug up Piller's original INS script.

Anything to get them out of Seven's way, amirite?

So Seven isn't the captain of the Titan. It could be Riker... or someone completely different. Other guesses?

Terry Matalas implied in a subsequent tweet that the person had appeared on 12 Monkeys. I assume he is referring to the TV series, not the movie, since he was also the showrunner for that series! :)

I wonder if the person in question was a main character on the show or not? I suddenly realize how much I'd like to see Emily Hampshire as a Starfleet officer!

So many choices... if I had to guess, if it's a main character from 12 Monkeys, I'd probably guess Todd Stashwick. He certainly has a commanding presence.

Whoever it ends up being, they won't be the first 12 Monkeys alum to ever sit in the captain's chair....

Jupiter Station.

The one in the PIC trailer is either a heavily expanded Spacedock like we've seen in TSFS and TNG, or a brand new, even more massive version with some extra bits.
The scene where the Titan warps out there’s a station similar to Jupiter station in the background.

That’s what they’re referring to, it’s in some of the images in the post they quoted.

OK, that one is similar, but appears to be near Earth and our Moon.

Must be a lot going on wherever that Spacedock is if it has a second structure that size.

Captain Richard Robau IV

I think Matalas said there would be Trek characters' relatives in S3. This might actually be what he was referring to, especially considering the way he teased the Titan captain in his tweet (something along the lines of "Just you wait!"). He knows everyone would eat it up! Can you imagine the length of the thread this will generate? It'll eclipse the Brian Brophy one.

PS: Wasn't there also a rumor that Walter Koenig has a cameo?

I would squeal like a 10 year old if Emily was in Star Trek! I *adore* her!

What about Cole himself, Aaron Stanford? Also, Kirk Acevedo has been in a *ton* of SF filmed in Canada.

I loved 12 Monkeys. :sigh:

Any of them would be great! Looking forward to seeing who it ends up being! :)

Now I'm doing one of those "Cast the cast of 12 Monkeys as the crew of a Starfleet ship" things in my head...
