And no two seasons of Picard are alike.
Yes, there are differences between the seasons. Though there are ties to the Borg in all of them.
So a PIC movie will likely have some sort of ties to the Borg. Be it someone else’s Borg trauma, Borg tech, Xbs, the Jurati Borg, 29th century Borg, or the psyche of Picard after finally defeating the Borg for good. Maybe even something ancient related to the Borg, which allows Picard to use his archeology skills.
And no, I am not generalizing. I’m observing a general aspect of the PIC series. As Picard’s relationship with the Romulans were generally phased out over the series – Zhaban gone, Laris and Elnor becoming afterthoughts, Romulan Free State not followed up on. Even Tallinn being a descendent of Laris.
There are some loose ends that PIC Season 3 didn't address: Picard/Laris chief among them.
A scene with Beverly and Laris. Seeing as Laris is on Chaltok IV to set up diplomatic security. And Beverly has invented a method to screen for Changelings.
And there 100% should be a scene between Data and Soji. Data should meet his "daughter", and it would be a real mistake not to have that.
I feel that scene will be in no matter what.
I remember that. I hope someone has the stones to convince him he should commit to Picard's wife having an identity whether it's Laris, Beverly, or Whoever Else.
I don't think they need to have Laris, but at least some mention or acknowledgement that it's over would be nice.
If you do not know the identity of Picard’s wife, is that such a big deal?
he tried it AGAIN with Crusher, it failed because naturally it would,
Not necessarily. It’s not clear how far in the future that scene with Picard and the unseen wife is. It could be in the early 2440s for all we know.
Meaning Picard and Beverly remain married for a few decades.
