I doubt the D is coming back (not when the G is around).
The only thing still around for the G is the CGI model. The sets are gone and all the props, uniforms, etc. will be auctioned off.

Why would they have to? They can just build new sets.Paramount would have to use the sets for DIS/SNW/the upcoming SFA for an Ent-G or even a Stargazer or La Sirena bridge set.
But if they still have the Ent-D bridge set, and Paramount is going to do everything possible to not break the bank, its logical to think the film will be involving the Ent-D, even though it should be enjoying a happy retirement. Not to mention the odd Galaxy class ship that’s still in service.

Simply because, even though they have the blueprints to rebuild the sets, building sets costs money.
Its far easier and more cost effective to simply redress the sets they already have.
They haven't auctioned off the S3 uniforms.
S1-S2 uniforms, yes:

The entire reason why the lighting for PIC season 3 was so damn dark was to hide the set imperfections that it already had.
It’s only a matter of time. Legacy isn’t a thing, so they won’t be needing any of that stuff anymore.

Was the lighting any darker than S2, since the Titan-A bridge was redress of the Stargazer bridge?
If they're so sure of that, why didn't they sell them with the S1 and S2 uniforms?![]()
We saw the Stargazer bridge for a total of about ten minutes for the entirety of season 2.
So, what imperfections did the set have if it only accounts for ten minutes of screen time in S2?
Its far more plausible that the darker lighting was to make everyone look younger.
I thought the darker lightning was because they wanted to rely upon the ambient lighting of the displays and monitors but it wasn't as bright as they thought it would be.
Actually, it was because they blew the budget on the TNG cast’s salary and couldn’t afford light bulbs.
With Paramount trying to save money, I doubt ANY Star Trek will ever be filmed anywhere but Toronto. The infrastructure is all right there, and at a significant discount compared to Los Angeles.
If. And it's a big if.... If they do ever make some series or film set in the aftermath of Picard season 3, it will be filmed in the GTA, likely at CBS Stages in Mississauga.
Granted, I doubt any of this will happen until SNW is finished, hopefully many years from now.

Legacy would definitely be filmed in Toronto, whenever it is greenlit.
I figure one could make a decent Ent-F/Odyssey class bridge with the Disco bridge set. Or an Ent-E/Sovereign class bridge even.
No Sir Patrick
Filming in Canada is NOT a panacea (it carries with it costs of its own -- especially in light of the new SAG/AFTRA contract).
They already have a built up infrastructure in Toronto and everything is based there. Besides, the only reason Picard filmed in California was because of Patrick Stewart, and even he was willing to consider Toronto. There were pictures back in 2018 of him visiting the Disco sets and meeting the cast as he toured the studio to help him make the decision.Jeri Ryan and Co. won't cost anywhere NEAR what Sir Patrick commanded. Plus, California offers filming production tax credits.

Choose your poison.
Still a great deal cheaper to film in Toronto. Between tax incentives and the higher American dollar, it makes financial sense. Plus, CBS has invested a lot of money into it's new studio in Mississauga. There's also the AR Wall that SNW has used to great effect.
Reshoots.
