Where did you hear that? The only thing I've heard is that it follows a mission that will have some kind of a big impact on Picard.Sounds like it could be a follow up to the original comic. Could be interesting
Considering the show seems to involve the Romulans, this could follow up from what happened to them in the previous Countdown comic.Where did you hear that? The only thing I've heard is that it follows a mission that will have some kind of a big impact on Picard.
Yeah, it does have Countdown as it's title, but it seems to me that's more of a generic "this is a prequel" title, rather than an indication it actually follows up on the Kelvinverse prequel.

I hear the author of the novelization hangs out here. Maybe you can ask him.Wasn't COUNTDOWN the one where Darkseid killed all the New Gods and Jimmy Olsen had sex with an alien insect-woman?
Or was that a different COUNTDOWN comic?![]()
In Countdown' s 2387 , Data is alive (in B-4's body) and is Captain of the USS Enterprise. In Picard, B-4 is in parts in a drawer somewhere and Picard...Is Countdown even consistent with what we know of Picard?

Visits Nemesis-era Data on the holodeck. Whether it's Data's actual consciousness or just a holographic recreation of Data is unknown as of yet.
But Picard takes place in 2399, so there's plenty of time for B4/Data to be drawered.
Doesn't quite fit with "almost 20 years ago, Commander Data sacrificed his life for me."But Picard takes place in 2399, so there's plenty of time for B4/Data to be drawered.
That's what I suspected. In Countdown' s 2387 , Data is alive (in B-4's body) and is Captain of the USS Enterprise. In Picard, B-4 is in parts in a drawer somewhere and Picard...

I doubt it. The original comic isn't consistent with Picard.Sounds like it could be a follow up to the original comic. Could be interesting
