I just want to say though i dislike him for his PIC BS.....I enjoy the 70's era local filmfest TV persona. Its fun.
Not to mention the fact that the Discoprise is actually 100% different from the TOS Enterprise, not 25%. The overall shape is similar, but there isn't a single specific attribute of the design that matches the TOS version completely.
I've never like the TOS Enterprise's thin Warp Nacelle Pylons, I've always preferred the TMP Angled Pylons.
So Discoprise being angled made me happy =D
I like my Warp Nacelle Pylons to be a little bit more Beefy, I like them to have a "Sturdy" looking feel relative to the mass and volume of the rest of the body.

Trust whatever you want. Go ahead and believe in flat Earth theory for all I care, as I'm sure Midnight's Edge Lord would encourage if it made him money. The video I posted actually uses facts and common sense as opposed to wild and baseless conspiracy theories that the poster pulled out of his ass.
Watch the source material first, then look at the videos second. It's not that hard to do.
Then you have a basis for comparison. Without being able to compare the videos to the source, human inclination will be to believe what confirms their biases.
indeed, yes. Primary experience is preferred rather than relying upon secondary or tertiary sources that have their own biases.
Just like I tell my mother-in-law, be weary of what you see on YouTube. Most folks there will post anything to generate clicks because that gets them paid. Not everything is bullshit, but you should hold it all to a very high standard of proof.

Yes it's confirmed as utter BS - IE CBS/Viacom (now emerged with Paramount) have full control over the IP (and BTW did for any Star Trek retaliated TV production - Paramount was LICENCING the film rights too to create the JJ Verse films - they never explicitly 'owned' anything <--- And again, this went away after the merger) - so again, the whole 'needs to be 25% different' claim is BS. Don't watch/read/feed the Trolls.
