Those sort of phrases always sound forced and unnatural to me.
No more unnatural to me than somebody entering their password into a computer.
Though makes me wonder if in many cases it wouldn't be easier to just select what you want and how you want it prepared (and with what side dishes and how much of it etc) with a touch screen rather than voice command.
Also...not sure whether somebody already mentioned it, but isn't there an episode where somebody orders a glass of water at a precise temperature (was it like 1 degree Celsius or something?)
I'd think the most user friendly interface is one you talk to normally. I would probably only establish a preference for something that is complex &/or unusual, that the computer had somehow managed to make exceptionally well, & I wanted a specific save for it, for fear of never stumbling across it randomly again.
An ordinary cup of coffee or tea really doesn't seem worth the bother imho, if it manages it in a few simple words, without further effort anyhow

I imagine the terminal in their quarters could access replicator menus. For meals & such, I'd occasionally browse its selections, & probably read through &/or alter their recipes, or write my own
Here's the thing. An interface is going to be based off of personal experience. Picard's ordering might seem odd to us, is common for him. If you have me a keyboard other than the Qwerty configuration I would also struggle with inputting data.

There's that Romulan who wanted a glass of cold water and he gave a Romulan temperature which the computer didn't understand... You'd think their computer would be acquainted with a few things concerning the species they interact with... In fact with the gigantic memory that this computer must have, I'd imagine that it would know everything about everything known in the federation...
