one thing i never understood about The Way of the Warrior

Noone mentions that this is the first episodewhere Kira's wearing ridiculously high heels and she fights off a load of Klingons.
Still i find it perfectly believable that Sisko could take them on when you see him throw a punch it looks like he'll knock someones head off.

Jadzia fighting off those Klingons in Ops struck me as weird, even at the age of 14 when WOTW first aired. When you consider that she couldn't even take down Worf earlier in the episode.

I also wondered why when O'Brien gets hit in the face with a bat'leth, it didn't take half his head off! Those things are sharp!

It's the A-Team syndrome. Our heros take beatings, shake it off, then one punch knocks the bad guy down.

yeah, I always thought the fight scene in Ops was farkin' ridiculous and unbelievable. but I've already ranted 'bout this in another thread, so I'll refrain from kickin' that dead horse.

The klingons seem to be bark, but no bite.
They're rumored as far stronger than humans - and yet, in EVERY human-klingon fight, the human held his own and then some.

Compare that to vulcans - they are said to be far stronger than humans and they are up to the reputation.

B'Elanna taking out Vorik.

Sisko comparing Worf's physical abilities to the Vulcans in Take
Me Out To The Holosuite.

B'Elanna was half human.
And Siso was reciting reputation, not facts.
