Spoilers Once Upon a Time season 6

Cool, I'm glad they'll be doing some more non-European stories. I don't know if Aladdin is really on the table since we already got Jafar in Once/Wonderland, and there was no mention of Aladdin in his story at all. I guess they could find a way to do it without connecting the characters, but I find it unlikely.

Question: I am really excited for the next season of Once Upon a Time, and my question is: What new characters will we meet besides Hyde? — Iris
Ausiello: In addition to the previously scooped Sinbad and Scherezade, the ABC series is casting for the premiere the role of Morpheus, as in the Greek god of dreams (versus, you know, Laurence Fishburne in The Matrix). He is described as “an old soul in a young body,” someone who is equally good at reading people as he is at hiding his own agenda.

Who's next? Huckleberry Finn?
Well, we did see The Three Muskateers and Esmeralda from Hunchback of Notre Dame in the finale, so Jekyll and Hyde weren't the only characters from the era they gave us. With them already have done most of the big fairy tales, I don't mind them moving on to this kind of stuff.

I was wrong, they are doing Aladdin. During the Season 6 SDCC panel they announced that Deniz Akendiz has been cast as Aladdin, and Oded Fehr is taking over the role of Jafar from Naaveen Andrews, who played in one Wonderland. They also showed the first scene from the premiere, which is posted in the link article.
I'm very curious to see how this will connect back to Wonderland.

Me too, that is great news. With her as Jasmine and Oded Fehr as Jafar the Aladdin storyline definitely has I ton of potential.
I doubt they would do it, but I would love to see them cast James Monroe Igleheart as Genie.
