Ok. What is the chance of a Picard spinoff?

She won't cost anywhere near the money that Sir Patrick would (as both an actor and Executive Producer). Plus, California has film production tax credits.

    A spin-off of a spin-off of a spin-off? That's just ridiculous.

    It's more of a sequel to a spin-off.

We have a Doctor -- Dr. Ohk (Tiffany Shepsis-Tretta).

    She was the Trill doctor.

    What about Mura?

The only spin off I would accept is Star Trek: The Odd Couple with Dorn and Frakes.
I don’t think there is a better idea out there honestly.

I think it's more likely a Legacy series gets folded into a Paramount+ movie like the Section 31 series did.

The only reason they're doing a S31 movie is because that was the only way they could get the insanely busy Michelle Yeoh (it didn't hurt to name her an Executive Producer).

I'd like to see Elnor back as well (I'd particularly like some interaction between him and Mura), but I think that's where I'd cap it for younger characters.

If Disco has taught us nothing else, it is that streaming Trek has an expiration date (the days of shows running ten, fifteen, twenty seasons are over).

If they can get four seasons out of Legacy, it will be a good thing.

I’ve never seen so much hype for a non-existent show since “The Interregnum” back during the ENT days.

Decker's not there because no one acknowledges Stephen Collins these days. Yeah, I guess no Jellico is odd, he was technically Captain longer than Riker was.

I would love a Star Trek Legacy show that follows the adventures of the Ent-G with Seven as captain as long as Terry Matalas is involved. The post credit was intriguing. A couple Q-Jack episodes could be really interesting and fun. Seven is a great captain. I like the Ent-G and the other bridge crew. I heard they could revisit some planets from previous classic Trek episodes. Following up on what happened after some classic TNG eps could be interesting. So I would definitely be on board.

The big concern is that the premise would be too similar to Strange New Worlds. I doubt TPTB would want two Star Trek shows that both feature the Enterprise, exploring new planets, certainly not at the same time. But I guess they could alternate the shows. The other point against it is that I think Kurtzman wants "phase 2" to focus on movies. Apparently, S31 is the launch of "phase 2". So if they are going to focus on movies more, they probably won't launch a new series. But maybe they could make Legacy into a Paramount Plus movie? That could work. That would stick with the focus on movies. Also, Jeri Ryan might be more willing to commit to a movie rather than a new series. So I feel like a Star Trek Legacy P+ movie is definitely possible.

It's not going to be another Strange New Worlds.

You'd think they would continue Picard's serialized format.

They're not exclusively focusing on movies (we're still getting a Starfleet Academy series).

Dr. Ohk will do fine as the CMO. It will be interesting to see a Trill doctor.

For security chief, why not bring in Elnor? He already draws parallels to Worf, and would be nice to use him more after he got short changed in S2 & ignored altogether in S3.

As for a chief engineer, why not a holographic version of Icheb (played by the actor from PIC S1, not Manu), using a mobile emitter? Starfleet clearly did not get rid of mobile emitter tech as seen in S3, and would give an opportunity to give the Icheb character a better sendoff than what he got in S1.

Why not kids of Dr. Pulaski even though we never saw them on screen? And are likely as old in the early 25th century as Pulaski was on TNG.

Guinan' s kids could show up, They have been mentioned before in TNG.

They could probably have descendants of Shran and Hoshi Sato show up; there is already precedent set with the STO: Age of Discovery (Shran) and current ongoing comics (Sato). And Lorian too, since in beta canon its not unheard of for Vulcans to live past 200 years.

And Jake Sisko and his younger sibling(s) should definitely show up.

Not gonna lie, I'd prefer Ed Speelers as a young Jean Luc commanding the Stargazer, but he seems like a good actor and I think he can be a good lead. Just not sure we want more fanwank explosions like Picard's third season. And when they're not fanwank exploding, it'll be more of season two which was shite.

    Hmm.
