I can't believe they're creating another love triangle. Just how much like One Tree Hill do they want to be? Smallville needs to die a dignified death. It's time. Either that, or get Welling into the tights. There's nothing else left to do.

The love triangles in Smallville don't make any sense. They're all automatically given love for no reason. In the real world people just start drinking and wake up pregnant.

I fear the show has totally missed the point of Doomsday, as to Jimmy hes a bit of a stud in this series, Chloe & Kara, lucky guy.

^Jimmy ? A stud ? Remember the scene where he arrived at Chloe's apartment and found Chloe in bed waiting for him ? She even initiated but he still kept babbling on about the story he was working on!

I'm going to miss Lex, he was the only guy on the show who wasn't neutered.

Of all the villains and storylines that Smallville hasn't explored yet, they choosed a half-assed Doomsday? I'd rather see Braniac become the character we know today. Or even the return of Myxy. I'd love to see Clark keep tricking him into saying his name backwards. Doomsday shouldn't even be in Clark's radar yet. I'll still watch, but I think jumping the gun with this character is a bad sign. I mean come on! Lex knows about Clark! That in itself would be an amazing season to explore. How the heck do you keep a secret like that form someone like Lex? Someone flies around in a red, yellow, and blue suit with similar powers as an old friend would be hard to explain. Unless at first, Superman saves people similar to Batman. He arrives suddenly, then leaves just as fast.

I still think that Vandal Savage would've made a good, semi-regular villian for Season 8. I agree that a half-assed Doomsday, on paper at least, is a bad idea, but I'll give it a shot.

I really don't want to judge the character before I see him onscreen.
