With October being Black History Month it seems fitting for this month's challenge to acknowledge black history and to celebrate the contribution of all the black characters and actors who have worked within Star Trek franchise over the years.
So, this month your challenge is to produce a piece of Trek Art featuring black characters/actors or Trek characters interacting with black historical events. Perhaps, you'd like to depict a black actor you'd love to see work in Trek or design a starship named after a famous black figure. It's up to you.
Here are the rules (from the Art Challenge Guidelines):
The Deadline for finished entries is midnight 2 November. (But feel free to ask for extra time if you need it)

This is brilliant!
As I said, something about this topic made me want to enter, so this was the result. I am a huge fan of William Marshall, From Daystrom to Blacula, that man is an f-ing Legend. He always brought it to whatever he did. And when he passed in 2003, I never got inspired to design a ship for him...so in a way, I needed to do this.
