I remain a little surprised that Kenobi doesn't have a better reputation. Yes, there was some BS in it. But when it was good it was very good.
On the other hand, its usage of the Inquisitors was inexplicably pitiful. I know someone who gave up after the first episode. He's typically vocal about disliking projects with weak villains, and in this case I couldn't disagree.

They felt identical to the presentation in Rebels.
They did more in Rebels. I think the only time Fifth Brother did anything with the Force in Kenobi was that time he Force-TKed Reva. The Grand Inquisitor killed Flea, not exactly an impressive feat, but didn't do much else that we saw. I don't remember Fourth Sister doing anything at all other than barking orders at some subordinates. With Reva as the lone exception, they didn't even get in lightsaber battles!
The lightsaber battles with them in Rebels were not a high point.
They felt like they were barking orders, intimidating non Force users, and Imperial power plays.

In Kenobi they lacked uniformity. They were infighting rather than cooperating.
So, perhaps they were not "identical" as to their portray in Rebels but felt about as useful.
I would love to forget that.
The first time we see more than one Inquisitor together in 'Rebels', they immediately start squabbling. Felt pretty consistent to me, and entirely in-line with how a bunch of dark side users would behave. The Rule of Two exists for a reason after all.
Later productions have mostly ignored that. They kept the spinning as an attack, but no flying off like a loony tunes character.
IIRC an inquistor in Jedi: Fallen Order may have slowed their fall with it, but none of them out right flew.
It just occurred to me.
Seeing Owen and Beru torched in A New Hope was dark, but imagine seeing that right after seeing the two of them fight off Reva and barely get lucky to have Luke's life spared.
ETA: One of the minor details to come out of the SDCC publishing panel caught my eye, courtesy of the upcoming 'Dawn of Rebellion' visual guide; that homeless clone Ben ran across on Daiyu has been given a name: Nax. That's actually an existing character from the Clone Wars movie novelization, which is interesting in and of itself since I gather that one is a little controversial for taking liberties with the script, which given it was written by Traviss doesn't sound all that surprising. Anyway, we can now imagine that he's one of the nameless troopers on Christophsis, Teth & Umbara.
Yeah, anyone doing a blind chronological watch through is in for a wild ride.

My only way of coping with this silliness is to suppose that Malachor has lower than usual gravity and a thicker than usual atmosphere, and that they're mostly just doing long jumps with the force, using the sabres as stabilisers for gliding rather than propulsion. It's not a very good way to cope with it, but it's better than "go-go-gadget Inqusicopter!"
