How does VRay compare to Corona...in terms of warmth?
Different products can often have different looks.
A long time ago, I could tell what channel I was watching just by the hue--NBC had a yellow tint to it.
Artifacts could be useful in story telling. There was a ray beam from a Doctor Who episode that was just a thin line of static.
While it was used as a generic weapon, I feel it better used, say, to digitize a character Tron style.
Babylon 5's older CG is perfect for Shadows, but newer CG for Earth Force ships to show rust would be in order for a remastered edition.
