NX-01 Deck Plans, Version 2.0

I meant for general reference when looking at the image above. What I was really wondering about when I came across that was the button colors. I grabbed a close-up of an ENT display from Trekcore (Broken Bow) just now, not that it's easy to determine the real colors from a screencap.

And we just had another strong quake here in Japan while I was typing this.

^ Ah. I thought you were talking to me. My narcissism raises its ugly head once again. My therapist will be so pleased.

And finding the correct shades for the button colors was a total pain in the ass. In the first two seasons, the bottom bar was done in shades of grey. In the later seasons they added either a lighter shade or a darker shade of the button color to those bars. But this little change was on the computer screens only. Any back-lit buttons found on the consoles or props were left the original design. The ones I did are based on the DVD menus and some screen grabs from the fourth season. (Check it out here...) The only change I made to them is the shade of yellow. The art department used orange for the darker shade but it was a little to "heavy" for what I was doing. It also drew the eye away from the actual artwork. They also introduced green to the original four button colors but I chose not to use it.

Okay, I adjusted the overall color to make the background black and cllipped out some buttons. So this should approximate the colors. Photobucket probably degrades them slightly, too, but this should be in the ballpark, although perhaps changed in later episodes/seasons. I don't know what the ENT colors are supposed to be. I've never really put effort into studying them. I had some excellent fanmade ENT screen images years ago with colors that looked right to me at the time.

So, just as a quick guess, . . .

You live in Japan?

And yeah, I heard about the new quake. The tectonic plates just don't want to shut up yet, do they?

Well, here is the last one. I don’t know what else to say.

The full schematic can be viewed on the NX-01 Overview Page of the website. Link is in my sig.

The project’s done so stick a fork in it. Now I think it’s time for something completely different. It’s been fun though.

<vader>NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!</vader>
Seriously though, very nice work all throughout! BTW, do you know if Drexler ever took a look at this? I'm sure he'd love to see it.

Looking forward to your next obsession! :techman:

^ I am not sure if Mr. Drexler has seen this version. I know he saw the previous.

And thanks! As for my new obsession... it is something completely different. It will have nothing to do with plans (I can do other things) and will be about "Old School" scifi. :bolian:

awesome cut-away there :D

It's sad to see this project come to an end. But it's also good to have the final deckplan. Wonderful work as always. Perhaps one day (probably not anytime soon ) you could try your hand at deckplans for another famous starship. :bolian:

It is sad to see this finished but also breath taking. The cutaway looks great and love what you did with this whole project.

^I am not sure what you are referencing. The only sliding door in that general area is for entering the lifeboat docking bay. The swinging door is for entering the lifeboat itself.

Great job with these plans. I'm excited to see what your old-school sci-fi obsession might be. I love old-school sci-fi!

UGH! My mistake. I saw the yellow and black warning lines right by the hatch and read that as the standard pocket doors.

It was late when I posted, I was tired.

^ No problem. It actually sounded like something I would screw-up. :rommie:

And I just wanted to say a BIG thank you for all the comments here. They have always been very much appreciated and helpful. I have loved working on this project, which, I guess, should be obvious since I managed to generate 48 schematics and build a 77 page website around them. But anyway, you folks have been invaluable.

As for my new project, I hope to have something in about a month. Stay tuned.

Can anyone tell me if you know any website has any Enterprise NX-01 LCAR Panels close up like 2500 x 2500 that can be copied. I found some panels on this website

http://www.lcars.org.uk/anno_ent26.htm but they are animated so i cannot copy them. Is there one without animation.

It is considered rude to not only bump a topic that has not been posted in for more then a year, it's also considered extremely rude to use that topic to ask a question that's not related to the art this person made. You might feel it is related, because you need some LCARS graphics, but since this is his/her topic, you cannot hijack it to ask a question.

Please start your own topic about this matter....
