"No Strings Attached" (Portman) or "Friends With Benefits" (Kunis)?

Re: "No Strings Attached" (Portman) or "Friends With Benefits" (Kunis)

^Yeah nothing like Kunis' scream of coming. Plus I like Portman but Kunis is a bit higher on my hotness scale.

Re: "No Strings Attached" (Portman) or "Friends With Benefits" (Kunis)

Based on the two trailers I could see myself watching the Kunis-Timberlake movie. It looks like a lot more fun than the Portman-Kutcher movie. I just don't like Ashton Kutcher and the more I see (and hear) of Timberlake, the more I like him.

Just saw this poster yesterday. Natalie looks great.

If by great, you mean "massively photoshopped," I concur.

Re: "No Strings Attached" (Portman) or "Friends With Benefits" (Kunis)

No one looks great that close to Kutcher. :p

Re: "No Strings Attached" (Portman) or "Friends With Benefits" (Kunis)

He definitely ruins the poster...

Re: "No Strings Attached" (Portman) or "Friends With Benefits" (Kunis)

This thread is a lot more entertaining than I expected it to be.

Re: "No Strings Attached" (Portman) or "Friends With Benefits" (Kunis)

One is definitely more romcom than the other.

Re: "No Strings Attached" (Portman) or "Friends With Benefits" (Kunis)

So Ashton Kutcher > Justin Timberlake? :p

I cannot accept that.

Agreed. A few years ago, I might not have said this, but... Justin Timberlake is kinda awesome. His appearances on SNL are hilarious.

I have to agree. I don't care for his music, but he's great ion SNL, and his acting was good in Alpha Dog and the Social Network. He seems a likable guy.

Re: "No Strings Attached" (Portman) or "Friends With Benefits" (Kunis)

Thought Black Swan was a really interesting movie. The spiral down into insanity was interesting to witness. The script kept you guessing as to what was real and what wasn't. That said, the stuff you knew wasn't real was still pretty intense.. And talk about a creepy mom! The self pleasuring scene was pretty damn funny at the end.

Re: "No Strings Attached" (Portman) or "Friends With Benefits" (Kunis)

Gawker did a write-up of No Strings Attached after watching the RedBand trailer. Needless to say, they were not amused by it.

Re: "No Strings Attached" (Portman) or "Friends With Benefits" (Kunis)

Hollywood always seem to release duplicate movies:

Armageddon & Deep Impact
Volcano & Dante's Peak
A Bug's Life & Antz (as previously mentioned)
Mission to Mars & Red Planet

Re: "No Strings Attached" (Portman) or "Friends With Benefits" (Kunis)

I'm surprised The Asylum didn't jump in on this. Not one but two movies to ride the coattails of. Of course, all the cliche titles are already taken. What's left? Fuck Buddies?

Re: "No Strings Attached" (Portman) or "Friends With Benefits" (Kunis)

Okay, just watched the trailers of both of these.
No strings attached was funny, i laughed out couple of times. (and it has portman)
Friends with benefits did nothing. (And I hear meg griffin when mila kunis talks :))

Re: "No Strings Attached" (Portman) or "Friends With Benefits" (Kunis)

Both of them look okay but I'm more interested in seeing "Friends With Benefits". The similarities between the two films as I attempted to explain in the other thread has to do with spec scripts being sold at relatively the same time. "Friends With Benefits" was sold as "Fuck Buddies".
