Seriously, it is not even funny that an actor who portrayed the antichrist went onto portray a hero in a dinosaur film marketed to children around the world. That is very deceiving.
I was born in raised as a Catholic. However, during my religious schooling at my church, my parents became very concerned with how my religion was being taught to me, and the cult like stature my classes were starting to take, due to comments just like your own. However, we believed it would be right that I was confirmed, and I was. However, it is so bad that my sister was just pulled from the program.
I believe in God and Jesus Christ in a capacity, but I do not want to adhere to a dogmatic organization like the Catholic Church, who is so hypocritcal and self serving the message that god teaches has gotten lost. However, I believe the message God teaches is sound, and I try to live my life as a good person.
That however, does not mean I will go shoving my beliefs down others throughts, and that I will judge others. This especially concerns a job such as acting...where everything is pretend.

And, Steven Spielberg really should have had the good sense to hire another for his "children's dinosaur film" back in the early-90's than an actor who up to that point was most famous for portraying the antichrist Damien Thorn in The Final Conflict.

That is one church that I am glad that I am not a member of, and whoever taught that lie to their congregation is a real quack who needs to get his head examined, because their heart and spiritual belief systems are out of whack.
It is expressly stated in the Holy Bible, especially in the Book of Revelations, that there indeed is a Heaven and a Hell, one of 2 places we will be going once our life ends here on Earth (Unless, an astronaut/cosmonaut happens to tragically die in space.).
