Niners Unite...around Babylon 5! - The Lost Threads

The Centauri teep from this episode was in that movie, as a minor role of a thug. This is how sick of a fan I am. That I can connect such dots.

I love how this whole thing comes around with Sheridan and Theo...and the guy who killed Edward.

How it all ties in with forgiveness!

NOw, I know that Jan knows this, but can you tell me PK in what other role in this series Louis Turenne (Br. Theo) played? ;)

JMS said that one reason he wrote it is because he's bad at the whole forgiveness thing.

Has JMS ever given any explanation about the sort of 'gills' that Lyta gets when she is doing her thing with Kosh?

Oh good grief no! You guys are in a completely different league than I am! I can't even do that all the time with DS9...much to many posters' in this forum's dismay!

Just that she was modified to be able to work more closely with the Vorlon so I guess that meant gills. Of course, G'Kar had gills we never saw again in the pilot.

Turenne was the original Draal, way back in season 1

Oh good grief! You're right!

You know...I'm embarrassed to admit that until this moment, I thought Draal was the same guy throughout!

You don't see him for a while and so I never picked up on it before!

I've popped in my disc for "The Corps is Mother...", but let's take a breather and chat a bit before starting that one

You know...I really admire this episode. It confronts some fairly controversial topics - religion (a fairly controversial topic in the scifi community...and the death penalty/death of personality).

This is a very real reason why I became such a big fan of the series. I was never looking for a show that would sing the praises of religion. All I asked for was one that would not deny it's existence or consign it to the dominion of kooks, bigots and the uneducated. Yeah, that comes in large measure from myself being what one would call "religious".

Well true....

Actually, I have a confession to make: I don't think I've seen this next episode but once. Maybe twice at most.

I've seen seasons 1-4 of B5 several times...but except for Sleeping in the Light, I tend to not re-watch season 5 episodes very often.

I've really been looking forward to this next one for that reason! It's been a LONG time since I've seen this next one!

I don't care if it's religion or science or what. I just love a show that asks interesting questions.
