Niners Unite...around Babylon 5! - The Lost Threads

That was really great! You know...I remember liking that ep from the first time I saw it...but it's been so long that I couldn't really remember why.

Bester is such a great character. Very multi-dimensional for a secondary character.

I don't think I ever rewatch the show without seeing new things in just about every episode. *Especially* if I'm reading the scripts along with.

And speaking of "Crusade", my wife & I went to see "National Treasure: Book of Secrets" today. I had no idea that Peter Woodward had a small role in that film!

Yeah, that was fun to see. Such a mundane role for him, though.

When we start doing watches of Crusade, I nominate 'The Long Road'.

Looks like I was at work during both of the commentaries, but quite a few interesting tidbits that I didn't know apparently popped up during conversation. I'll have to make the next one.

Crusade! Egads!

I think there might even be a couple of episodes of that I've not gotten 'round to seeing yet. :o

True.. but he still had a bit of fun.

When we start doing watches of Crusade, I nominate 'The Long Road'.
And I want to watch "The Well of Forever" since it's one that Fiona wrote.

I'd love to watch Crusade with you guys. I'm so much less familiar with that show! It would be fun to have the experts around. ;)

Sorry you missed it! It was just me and the experts.

I'd nominate 'Ruling from the Tomb' and 'The Long Road,' if I had to choose. On first glance at my ratings, I thought they were the best of Crusade.

On the other hand, we could watch 'Visitors from Down the Street' if we wanted to mull over an episode that does everything wrong it possibly could.

Of course, we could always have a "viewing party" for the episode "Value Judgments". ;)

Oh, I don't know, PK. Probably 4 or 5. Thing is, most of B5 I've read the scripts along with the episodes at some point, which really gives an insight into the episode. I haven't done that with Crusade yet. Hmmm...

HA, I didn't care for 'Visitors' but I'm not an X-Files fan.

I honestly don't feel "Ruling From the Tomb" was one of the best, although it does have just about my favorite line from the series:

Dureena, "Gods, I am drowning in testosterone."
Eilerson, "Oh, luckily for you, your equipped with flotation devices."

I didn't think it was all THAT bad. And it does have that nice little teasing of Trek's "prime directive".

I see!

So do you have copies of all the scrips then? Or just the ones in the script books?

I've recently become a huge X-Files fan, and it only makes the episode worse, IMHO. It's a parody of what the X-Files looks to be at a superficial glance, not what the X-Files actually is, at least in my judgment.
