Yep, which is why I have a lot of hope for the Lost Tales. But the look is also dependent on the DOP--do we know who is doing that on these DVD episodes?

I haven't heard who. JMS did say that he 'directed on the page' even more than before for 'Voices in the Dark', though.

What did the first moment he walked onto the station look like? That seems like an appropriate bookend--maybe it just didn't look right with the new footage?

I always thought Garibaldi was the everyman. I guess Zack was, too, but different somehow.

Did Valen go beyond the rim, too, I wonder. I want to see THAT story in the Lost Tales, too. Damn, I don't think I'd be pleased with those unless they did 40 installments.

Garibaldi was that to a certain extent, but... compared to Zack Garibaldi was more heroic in what he had to face and was able to do
