NHL 2010/2011 season....

I can take some solace in the indisputable fact that no one will ever match Montreal's 24 Stanley Cups and that in overall playoff contests the Habs have the better record over Boston.

Ha! Living in the past are you?

Don't worry though. At least your last cup win was more recent than the Leafs. ;)

They had a 1 in 6 chance when they won most of those they were just the biggest bully on the block.
Our house never like them Nor Toronto)we pulled for the Russians against the Habs in the '76 series.
I'm glad they are out.
And yes I know all the Canuck haters will pull for the other teams, but I don't care.

^ The Canucks are my second team behind the Leafs, so I'll be happy if they win.

Incidentally, the Habs are starting to build an impressive drought of their own, now. I'm pretty sure that 18 years is the longest in the history of the franchise.

Up until '93 the Habs had never gone more than seven years without a cup. And the charge that they were the biggest bullies is pure bullshit. People always use this excuse when they don't like a team and yet can easily turn a blind eye to whatever bullshit their favoured team pulls. Bruins fans take particular note: you have players that are sneaky bastards who like to play innocent when they've so obviously just tried to take a guy out.

Generally speaking I've can't recall seeing an NHL team that didn't do things to help win a game.

I hope the Bruins and the Flyers savage each other and the one left standing gets taken down by either Washington or Tampa. I don't care which.

Flyers have the Bruins right where they want 'em, now!

Meanwhile, Boudreau may want to inquire about open positions at Versus.

The Flyers might have better luck if they just play Game 4 with an empty net and an extra skater the whole game. :p

Yeah, no kidding. They should at least put Bob in again and give him some experience. Boucher is clearly not the future at the moment.

Wow. Tampa swept Washington. That surprised me just a bit. In fact, all but the Vancouver/Nashville series could be sweeps. Bit of a shocker there.

The rest of it's a little surprising. But not Tampa/Washington. The Caps are the most notorious chokers of the post-lockout era.

I don't like the Bruins much. But I've always hated Philly so the sweep makes me smile. Plus, even though he hasn't done that well with Boston, Kaberle deserves to go as deep as he can in the playoffs after missing them for so long with the Leafs.

Hmm... Vancouver and Boston, with Vancouver winning would be nice.

Caps swept! Flyers swept!

I hope these other two series end soon, cant give Boston or the bolts too much rest, Boston And Vancouver would be a Great series

Well, whether or not the Preds can come back, you can't complain about losing to the Canucks, and they at least made it past the Round 1 hump.

Being Canadian I should be rooting for Vancouver, but I find myself liking the Predators and rooting for them. Must be something to do with cheering the underdog.

I hope the Sharks can pull this off at Home tonight. It's been a great series so far and they played their hearts out in game 4. Looking forward to Puck Drop.

Hmm... according to DirecTV, NBC is currently airing Game 5 of the Flyers-Bruins series.

Philly's comeback begins now, I tells ya! They've saved everything for Game 5!
