NHL 2010/2011 season....

Chicago winning made me really happy tonight. I would love to see this happen two years in a row, but am a bit afraid if the Sharks and Blackhawks win this week. I however don't want to jinx anything though. ;)

Congrats to Nashville for winning it's first playoff series. They deserve it and Berry Trotz has always been a bit of an underrated coach.

The Hawks really did not deserve to win that game. Totally outplayed by the Nucks the whole way. the Hawks defense was as brutal as they have been all year. Great individual effort by Hossa in OT and right place right time for Smith. Have to wonder about the Nucks psyche if the Hawks score an early one on Tuesday.

Not me, obviously as a Canucks fan but also as someone whio enjoys good hockey. A Sharks/Canucks series would be fantastic regardless of who won: for one thing, the refs don't care about either team as much as they love the Hawks, so you know it would be a level playing field. ;)

Fully seconded. Again, a Canucks/Preds series might be fun (and will be the next round if the Canucks manage a win in Game 7).

^^ Goody for you.

I work with folks who don't like Montreal or we simply pull for different teams. We talk hockey and we aren't the closest of friends, but we will tease each other yet we won't go out of our way to rub each others nose in it. I know long suffering Leafs fans and I might tease them a little, but I wouldn't ever give them the finger, figuratively or otherwise.

You should see my special edition Oilers trashing avatar I bring out during battle of Alberta games.

I'm a bit stressed out these days, I have to say.

Maybe it's time to look at Schneider as a long term option and unload Luongo while his value is high. Just a thought...

Luongo's contract is untradeable.
Why do you say that? He carries a $5.3 million cap hit/year - that's pretty attractive to any team as long as he doesn't play the Hawks in the playoffs. The only difficulty would be getting him to agree to a trade.

Holy crap Vancouver/Chicago. Overtime. Curse you Toews.

Edit: VANCOUVER WINS IN OT!!! Burrows gets the goal. Biggest cheer I've heard from that arena since Crosby's Golden Goal.

Dear Vancouver Canucks, thank you for shortening my lifespan by 10 years from stress.
Although I am happy with the outcome.
DON`T DO IT AGAIN!!
P.S. Go Canucks :D

What a game 7 what a series.
I may in shit with my landlords for the very loud F-Bomb I yelled out when Chicago tied it.

We can't say it wasn't an interesting series ... pretty much had everything.

And my chest still hurts from Games 5 and 6 ...

Woot! Flyers hold on and win in game 7. Goalie situation still needs to be sorted out, but bring on the next round!
