So how come Rutuu got a suspension for biting in 2009, but Borrows didn't get a suspension for Biting in 2011? The video was inconclusive? Sure looked conclusive to me. Thank god we can have a fresh slate with Shannahan next year.

In case anyone's curious, the season tickets have sold out in under 72 hours for Winnipeg's NHL team (whatever it will end up being called). The pre-sale (existing Moose season ticket holders) got up to about 7500 or so in a couple days while the remainder sold in just 17 minutes after the general sale opened today.

I wouldn't get any hopes up. Campbell isn't the biggest problem. It's the Board of Governors. Shanahan simply won't have the leash to make drastic changes to the league's suspension policies.

It's a real shame, because this is going to taint the whole series. If Vancouver wins the Cup, we'll be hearing about Bite-gate for the next twenty years.
