NHL 2008-2009 Discussion!

I'd rather lose one 10-2 than lose 7 in a row like the Canucks have. Last night we lost to the lowest scoring team in the league. It's getting pretty brutal, not sure how long the coach will last.

Well, I am a bit of an oilers fan, though they aren't my number one team (which might have something to do with this), but I am slightly amused. Yeah, it sucks but a loss is a loss no matter the score.

At least you guys can realistically look towards Vigneault being fired for the benefit of the team, where as practically NOTHING will compel the Oilers management to get rid of MacT.

I think he'll be gone at the end of the regular season.

Id rather get rid of the locker room coach.

But thats just from personal experiance..

Yet another fucking blowout for the Oilers. 8-3 Detroit.

But hey, it's all good. We have a good team, a good coach, and good management. Oh and the history; you can't forget the history..

Is it bad that Im getting used to it?

I guess it kind of makes me feel better for being a Kings fan :p

Ottawa's Jason Smith got a triple minor and a game misconduct against Buffalo, and had to spend sixteen minutes in the box.

A great game from the Predators tonight. It was intense going into sudden death again Boston. LOVE the Sommet Center when it there is a sold out game and great hockey.

The best part of the night was the national anthem though. Sam Lloyd (Ted the lawyer on Scrubs) and his a capella band (The Worthless Peons) from the show were at Nashville to sing the anthem. My wife and I actually had lower level seats and were not far away. We are both HUGE Scrubs fans and that was a great surprise.

Dear Sharks,

Please stop going to overtime and actually win in regulation.

Thanks,

A Long time fan who is starting to get paranoid because Detroit is only 2 points back.
