NHL 2008-2009 Discussion!

Whoa... Jaromir Jagr is laying not so subtle hints that he wants to return to the Penguins. I'd never thought I'd see that day.
 
Even at age 37 next season, Jagr would be a welcome addition to the anemic Pens. It was so sad seeing the Caps kicks our (Pittsburgh's) ass last night. What happened to the team that made it to the Stanley Cup finals last year? I'm a sad Pens fan :(
 
Right now we are stinking up the joint on a nightly basis. Once Luongo regains his form and Mats finds his game again, we'll be ok.
 
Dammit to the Sharks game last night. First loss at home in regulation and it has to come against the freaking Flames. Oh well. It's just a loss and the Sharks have cooled down since that rediculous start, but man it would have been nice to win the first game of this two game murderer's row. I am a little been nervous about the game tomorrow night against the Wings. Hopefully the Sharks come out mad and firing. That also really sucked when Blake took the shot in the face though. Hopefully he's alright.
 
I got to watch the full ceremony on our tv down in the clubhouse, as well as most of the game. And it was quite awesome indeed. We had quite a few people buying new Oilers hats afterwards.

Im just mad I didnt introduce myself to Messier and Simpson when I saw them.
 
The All Star Break is over (Decent game, bad coverage by Versus), and it's time to get back to what's really important, The second half of the NHL Season. Looking forward to seeing how the Sharks respond to the long layoff and the somewhat difficult month they will have with a week of hockey that includes the Bruins, Penguins (Back to back) and Sabres. Even if they go 500 in this month, that would be a good month. They are always exceeding expectations though, so we'll see what happens.
 
^Yeah, that was dreadful. Glad I wasn't working tonight. Wasnt really up to dealing with the fans. Especially after THAT game.

I sure as fuck hope so. I sometimes think that their ECHL affiliate (the Victoria Salmon Kings) could beat them on a given night , the way the Canucks are stinkin up the joint.
as a Canuck fan since they came into the league its very frustrating.

I cheered pretty loud when Buffalo actually did it, actually.
 
When will Mike Gillis fire Alain Vigneault?
The payers obviously don't like his defensive style.
Sundin is a waste of $$$, ( Curse of the 'Baldies', I heard one fan say, [ think Mr Messier]).
I said it months ago that this season would suck for Canuck fans, sadly It seem to be comming true.
