NFL Football 2009

Here's a thought..... now that Pete Carroll has moved on to Seattle, do the Seahawks play the Jets (and Mark Sanchez) next season?

But if Kurt Warner retires, the Seahawks would play Matt Leinart twice. They also play Kansas City.

I love Divisional Weekend. This is going to be fun. I've got my Reggie Wayne jersey on and cannot wait for the games to begin.

I hope the games this weekend are better than the games last weekend. Think the games tomorrow will be great, especially the first one, Dallas/Minnesota.

They're about to break a postseason record for most points in a first half for a postseason game. NFC defenses haven't shown up this month.

Btw. isn't it completely stupid to have the Pro Bowl one week before the Super Bowl? Do they expect any of the nominated players of the two teams that make it to even show up there?

Hehehehe.... now those would be good tickets to get, eh?

And once every three years, Seattle would play the Bengals too.

:techman:

Not as interesting, because there was no controversy when Palmer left USC. Sanchez and Carroll OTOH... the separation didn't go as smoothly apparently.

Looks as if New Orleans D has, though.

Oh. Look. Another crappy playoff game. That gives us 4 of the first 5 games not being even remotely entertaining.

Well, that all depends. ;)
Fair enough... I'll rephrase that to, "That gives us 4 of the first 5 game not being even remotely close to being games.

And in the one game that was entertaining, I went to bed at halftime.
 No kidding! I have no idea why I didn't but I seriously considered doing the same after both the first quarter and halftime.

I like blowouts once in a while when it's my team that's blowing out, but I don't like them too often. But in cases like these playoffs, when I'm watching for the sake of watching, I want the games to be close battles in one form or another, whether it be an offensive shootout or a defensive battle.

This might be proof that there are too many teams in the playoffs... even though Arizona did win their division... I don't know.
