NFL 2023: A different shade of green for Aaron Rodgers

I'm really hoping the Lions run away with the NFC North but I've got at least a mild interest in the Vikings doing well since Josh Dobbs is there now.

Also, randomly enough, with Dobbs at Minnesota and Hendon Hooker drafted by Detroit, that's both of the last two Tennessee QBs worth a spit in the NFC North.

The NFL should bury the Oilers name, logo and uniforms, they make the Titans gear look like puke.

Been watching the CFL over the last few weeks. Pretty interesting football. Though when watching the NFL now, the field feels incredibly small.

Haven't watched. Are they using soccer fields up there? That would explain the larger size.

I know some of the teams share soccer fields, but the rules on field size go back a pretty long way. I just think it is bigger because there are 12 men on a side.

Seems that soccer fields are wider than CFL fields by about 10-12 yards, but are 30 yards shorter.

  • The field must be rectangular, can not be more than 75 yards wide (68.58 m) or be less than 70 yards (64.01 m) and it must not exceed the length.
  • The reach of the field can not be more than 120 yards (109.73 m) or less than 115 yards (105.16 m) Indoor facilities and youth facilities have a unique set of dimensions.

The last Raiders coach to last more than four seasons was Art Shell (1989-94)! And one of the coaches after Art Shell who was fired after a short run? Art Shell!

I think the Lions are through the hardest part of their schedule. They come back from the bye to play the Chargers and have a Week 17 clash with the Cowboys. Those would be the only two games I would consider losses. They have Week 13 against the Saints, but with Carr playing less than optimally, they could probably win that one. The rest is two against the Bears, two against the Vikings, one against the Packers and one against the Broncos. And I think they only play one game not in a dome or a really nice climate.

It's still hard as a Lions fan to think of them going 13-4 or even better.

Since my team, the Patriots, suck this year, I have decided to not follow football until it is possible to do so without hearing about celebrity relationships.

Celtics and Bruins will sustain me.

It's being reported that all of the Raiders firings are going to cost the team around $85 million.

Jaren Hall out with a concussion. Joshua Dobbs in.

Twice in one season Dobbs has been thrown into the fire with very little prep time.

Rams without Matt Stafford are in huge trouble.

Yeah we’ve got our top 2 running backs out, and our QB out. Not surprisingly, Brett Rypien is not the answer.

Our defense has played pretty well, but the offense has been completely useless.
