NFL 2023: A different shade of green for Aaron Rodgers

LB Blake Martinez worked out for the Panthers this week. Attempting an NFL comeback after he retired to focus on his Pokemon card scam.

Damontae Kazee intercepts the ball in the end zone for the Steelers, takes it out and immediately steps out of bounds on the 2.

So, my Rams are doing great in Dallas today.

Stafford throws a pick-6. Punt blocked for a safety.

33-3 and it’s not even halftime yet.

:scream::wah:

Does he know he's a QB?

Okay, my snarky post was ill-informed. It looks like he got hurt midway through the 2nd quarter and the backup (third stringer) has only attempted 4 passes since then. Taylor suffered a rib injury and had to be taken to the hospital.

All these QBs had to leave their games today with injuries:

Matt Stafford
Tyrod Taylor
Kirk Cousins
Desmond Ridder
Kenny Pickett

Jets victorious 13-10 in OT.

Giants passing game was -9 yards -- Tyrod Taylor 4-7 for 8 yards, Tommy DeVito 2-7 for -1 yard, plus sacks for a loss of 16 yards.

Lions could run away with the NFC North, unless they remember they're the Lions. Then it could be any sub-.500 team.

Cowboys hung 43 on the Rams. Panthers won their first game, dammit (Bears have their 1st rounder in 2024, not that they'll do anything worthwhile with probable two top-5 picks).

Will Levis with 4 TDs and the win in his first start. Is the Tannehill era is over in Tennessee?

The bye week comes at the right time for the 49ers. What an ugly 3 weeks that was. The Defense needs to play a lot more angrier because they aren't getting paid to be soft.

The NFL told the U of H Cougars not to wear their Oiler look alike colors again. Somehow they didn't tell the Rice Owls or the Houston Rockets (who did the same thing) not to do it. Or the countless high school teams doing the same thing. Fuck the NFL and fuck the Titans for this dumbass horseshit.

I'm a Titans fan and I wish they'd let it go. They should have left the Oilers name and colors in Houston (after the two-year transition) in the first place. I've never had any connection to the Oilers and every time they wear those throwbacks it just reminds me of how the team came to Nashville in the first place.

They should work something out with UH, a licensing thing or something.

This is a tit-for-tat thing between the owners of the two clubs. Titans will wear their Oiler uniforms when the Texans visit later this year. Next year the Texans are getting a uniform change of some type which will include a "Houston Blue" color. Whether it's an alternate uniform (which teams are allowed to do twice a year) or they are changing their weekly colors isn't known just yet. I'm pretty sure it's just a change to a gimmicky alternate uniform since the Texans don't really have one.
