NFL 2019 Season

Wow! Helluva game tonight - a real nail-biter up to the end. Both teams played very well, and I feel really bad for the Rams’ kicker on that last FG. Just inches off. Condolences on your team’s loss Digits. That one was way too close. I was rooting for them, if for no other reason than I really hated the Seahawks’ choice of colors tonight. :ack: :barf: <<< Hey look, it matches!
 
Bears looking like shit so far. Not surprising with the offense, but the D too.

The Texans accidentally scored 53 against Atlanta today. But don't worry, next week they play the Chiefs and won't be doing that again.

The Texans do have a good offense, when it's working, which isn't every week.
 
...And the Skins sadly (and unsurprisingly) fall to the Pats. Had a good start for the first 5 minutes and predictably fizzled to a 0-5 loss. They should just stop now and show their whole coaching staff the door.

In other news, Broncos are doing well in SD today. They can’t afford 0-5 either and they appear to be playing like they actually believe it.
 
Now THAT is the way to shut Khalil Mack's mouth. Never occurred to him (and many others) that the Raiders might actually be a better team without him. One of the biggest things for the Raiders was having played a game in London last season. Unlike last season, they didn't treat it like just any other game like the Bears did. They arrived a week early and got acclimated. The Bears looked dazed in that first half.

Great game plan, which was simply, "knock the shit out of them." Can't say enough about our O-line. Not only did they bust up the Bears very good defensive front, they protected the hell out of Carr. Is Richie Incognito that good? Because his mental mistakes had my head spinning.

We got 3 first rounders from the Mack, Coop trade. One of those picks netted us Josh Jacobs, who I think, was the first running back taken in the draft. He looked great, but then so did all of our backs.

All in all, a great win, biggest in 2 1/2 years. We're 3-2 and in second in the division.
 
I have an actual chance to win Fantasy Football money this week. I’m in third, top 2 pay, but nobody above me has a player on Monday.

Right now to get into 2nd I need 4 points out of J Wilson. For 1st I would need like 25. Odds favor 2nd.

It’s feeling strongly like this is Brady’s last season. Especially if we either win or fade horribly.
 
They got a total shit show going on in Washington. Miami too.

Meanwhile, the Steelers are combing through the Arena Football League to see if someone wants to start at QB.

That cart fiasco was just the cherry on top of the crap sundae.
