NFL 2017 Season

The sports gods sacrificed Watson for the Astros. Houston apparently has a limit to the the nice things it can have. :(

It's all good brother! :) I'm just hella surprised that my team just played like...well, a team that wants to be a contender. Before yesterday I didn't think they could even be a wildcard team and just hope for a good set of draft picks in the offseason. They keep playing like this (although doubtful) they may be a bit of a dark horse. Philly is a force of nature right now, though, and will be a tough nut to crack in the division.

Great week for the Pats, the Defense didn't give up a single yard! :techman:

For real, though, pretty good deal for the Pats this week. Bills lost, Chiefs lost, Miami lost; got a little separation without having to play a game. Steelers and Chiefs are still both right there with the Pats, though. With Denver and Oakland up next, hopefully can keep rolling. Two decent teams that they may be catching at a good time, but both on the road, so we'll see

Denver is pretty bad. I see the next two weeks as easy wins for the pats.

Never know. Pats defense isn't exactly trustworthy yet (although been much better lately), so a couple big plays make games look much worse. Denver has the defense to give them trouble, so if they can do that and our defense makes Brock look like he did a couple years go, could be a game. Same with Oakland, they've been bad, but we can make bad teams look decent, plus weird place to play (Mexico City game), so never know.

I'd expect they will win both and be in a good spot, but it's not the Patriots of old where it's a 100% lock. They haven't been able to put teams away, so there's been some stress at the end of games. Still winning, just not crushing anyone at the moment.

As much as I would absolutely love to see Denver demolish the Pats, I am under no illusions that that would happen in this or any other alternate universe with this post-Peyton team. Their hearts just aren't in it, I don't think.

Then again, that's what I thought about the Skins before yesterday's game against Seattle and they surprised the shit out of me, so who knows? Any given Sunday an' all that...

Exactly this. It's been quite depressing to watch their downfall this season. It started last year, to be sure, but at least they were still reasonably good. This year? Between the horrible QB'ing of Siemian and Assweiler (Osweiler), the latter of which should never have been brought back due to a multitude of reasons, both professionally and ethically, they are headless and rudderless.

The Texans signed Matt McGloin sight unseen; they literally didn't try him out.

Somewhere, Kaepernick's attorney is laughing.

Well, the Raiders get by the Dolphins Sunday night. Defense gave up their usual 40+ yard gain after appearing to get comfortably ahead at 27-16. They held on for 27-24 win. But shockingly, we're actually in "sole possession" of second place in the division, 2 games behind the Chiefs, so still a chance to make the playoffs.

Gotta get rid of Ken Norton and Todd Downing (from coaching staff) next season.

We play the Texans at home on Sunday.

Watch him have the game of his life.

Denver is a total shit show.

They really are. Funny how things fall apart in just a couple of years. And they're're playing the Pats next. Uh...

And now the leaky Giants locker room is confirming that the coach has lost the players. Glad I'm a Saints fan.

Rams will win by at least 30 points.

After losing Watt and Merciless on defense, the Texans became a one horse show with D. Watson. We are now horseless and toothless and Cleveland has our number 1 and 2 picks next year. I think I'll be watching Astro highlights this Sunday.
