Tough to escape when the Admin keeps trolling and bringing it back so he can then jump in and act superior when people dare respond.

At least he's not changing my posts without my permission this time.

I don't think we should argue.

Let's just all agree that Tom Brady and Bill Bellichick are lying, cheating, spying, videotaping, ball deflaters who will eventually get their comeuppance, if not in this life, then the next.

Fair enough?

Seems fair and unbiased, sure :)

Hope Brady wins Sunday and I get the extra enjoyment knowing that it's bothering him that much more...

And if it's Brady/Rodgers, we're all going to get diabetes

The Patriots are the final team left in the playoffs whose state voted for Clinton. The others voted Trump

I think I said sometime last year, or maybe the year before, that we all just need to accept two things:

1: The New England Patriots are a very, very, very good football team, and have been for a ridiculously, statistically defying, long time.

2: The Patriots, through much of their behavior over the past, oh, 15 years or so, do not make it particularly easy to like them if one is not predisposed to being a fan to begin with.

Na it means Patriots will win it all. Packers should make it to the super bowl since Wisconsin almost voted Clinton

I should amend my earlier comment: Cowboys / Patriots would have me rooting for ISIS. Packers / Patriots would have me rooting for the biggest meteor in history to smash us all into oblivion. (... there's a reason I don't talk football in the office here in Madison.)

I'd love to see Falcons/Steelers, but I feel the direct opposite is more likely.

Rodgers is in a league all his own and Brady still manages to get it done.

I've always thought that deflategate crap was well.... just crap.

But...

I kinda like that the Steelers may be worrying about things like that. And before you say they aren't, care to revisit any of Mike Tomlin's post-game interviews after Pats games? Pretty worked up about how somehow Bill had rigged the communication system...that the NFL owns and operates...and does it every time. Then you've got the Colts sweeping for bugs, giving players all sorts of fake playbooks (that's probably not confusing!), etc.

Even if teams only waste a few minutes thinking about things like this, it's time they aren't spending trying to win a football game.

Plus most of it is just stupid shit in the first place. Hell, most of what they're suggesting is illegal in addition to against the rules, but hey, evil genius, amirite? Spy cameras in the lighthouse, video screen in the parking lot that was somehow helping Bill call plays or something (it's on a delay, not live), breaking into visiting locker rooms to steal playbooks (hence the fakes), all kinds of devious things the cheating Patriots are doing.

I can assure you that the Steelers aren't worried about this kind of stuff.

... and Tomlin has been working on his special team play ...

Steelers FANS aren't worried maybe (although will certainly start chirping about it if they lose), but listen to the audio from the first meme you posted. Tomlin's certainly a believer. Or fishing for excuses for why he's not as good a coach, I suppose. Anything but his fault, so if there's cheating rumors he can grasp onto, no matter how dumb, he's on it!

As you probably remember, I'm not a Tomlin fan.

There are times when we go in knowing we'll be out coached. Sunday for sure, and when we play the Ravens (1&4 our of last 5).

Look at the Ravens game to get us the division. I think 9 seconds on the clock, no time outs, down by 3. What does Ben do? .... he throws to the middle of the god damn field. If it weren't for AB's herculean effort (The immaculate extension) we don't even make the play-offs.

Look at this AB video debacle... Tomlin is holding his "big speech" to only those that can stomach his sermons. half the team is off doing their thing. His teams are known for lack of discipline. He has personally shown it as seen in that meme I posted above. I can almost guarantee he will mess up something Sunday. My only hope is a defense that has really progressed this year and our O-Line can dominate and get Bell some lanes. We have to control the clock and limit Brady's touches to win.

That said, it could end up being a 40-38 shootout. :D

I hope they don't forget Jesse.... he's a good solid weapon as proven last weekend.

I'm just hoping that Brady is still off, as he was last weekend. The Pat's are favored, and they should be at home - but the Steelers can certainly win this game.

no argument there, this is probably the best possible matchup in the AFC, or at least since Carr went down. Feel the Pats still have a good chance there, but never know, Steelers have a few weapons that can get you. My confidence is mostly from the Steelers really not being a flexible team, and are more of a "we do what we do" sort of team. I think the Pats match up well with them, and Belichick has handled the Steelers pretty well in the past with that approach. Feel like they can put a lot of attention to Bell and Brown, and then see what Ben can do from there. It's unpredictability that is tough to plan for, they can scheme for a strength on strength matchup.

Real area that gets to Brady is teams that can get solid pressure just rushing 3 and dropping 8 into coverage. Not exactly a 'blueprint' or whatever, as it's very hard to have the personnel to actually DO that. Plus, not really any QB in the league that that won't be a rough day for. Bunch of Brady being off last week was having several #1 overall picks on the D-line rushing him at once and forcing bad throws/broken timing. Houston's defense was probably the best of the teams still in it at that point.

The best thing about living in Dallas is being at ground-zero for the annual Cowboys collapse and watching the reactions of the fans and media. I've never seen anything like this though. I almost feel sorry for them but I know how irritating they would have been had they won the game, or God forbid the Super Bowl. I remember once about 6-7 years ago Dallas won a Wild Card game, I think they hadn't won a playoff game since '96 at the time, and you would have thought they won the Super Bowl. I had wanted to watch SNL that night since Charles Barkley was hosting but it was pre-empted by ongoing coverage of the celebrations in the streets and people jumping on cars yelling "wooooo". All because of a Wild Card game. The next week Favre and the Vikings tore them a shiny new 34-3 butthole.
