New Years Resolution Thread!

My new year's resolutions:
- excercise: get in shape and lose some weight
- get accepted at the Royal Dutch Military Academy
- eat/cook healthier

desktop resolution on a computer screen?

no?

oh, go back to sleep...

mine:

1)finish my book and get an agent to get it published
2) meet TSQ
3) date TSQ.

And I'm going to take myself to a Buddhist center.

They'll need all their legendary zen tranquillity to cope with you. :D

I lol'ed.

But to this end, I must...

3. Spend less time engaging in pointless arguments on the internet.

Yeah, like THAT'S going to happen!

I don't "do" New Year's Resolutions myself. My challenges remain the same they've always been - to have more time to think & to play. I keep making slow progress...

You say you want a resolutio-o-on, we-e-ell you kno-ow...

I don't really do resolutions either, as I end up breaking them each and every time. Instead, I set my mind on something and just do it. Usually it works. :bolian:

My usual is:

To make the new year better then the one I just had.

Usually fits for just about everything and works with my goal of constantly trying to improve myself. So under that could be things like losing weight, getting into better shape in general in fact, try and sustain some kind of relationship, see to it that I may have some sex this year, keep working towards my career, maybe start working and starting to save of for my new car, eat leass crisps, etc.

First, I want to learn how to organize my time better. I still haven't adjusted to this whole PhD thing, I have to learn to work differently than before.

Secondly, like almost everyone else in here :p, I want to lose some weight. I had lost many kilograms some years ago and I haven't gain any of them back so I think it's time to go for another 5kg to reach the "ideal" weight for my height.

Oh, and I want to have free time! :D
