Interesting Daleks- *not* from the Victory Of The Daleks episode, by the looks of things... Different colours - more like the Hartnell/Troughton colours.

But still NSDs in shape and construction, not a redesign.

And a crashed ship - crash of the Byzantium, then?
 
Is the Doctor going to be taking on Nero as he carves into Vulcan? That's what it looked like (BBC America clip). At :38 or :39
 
That is stellar. The new season cannot arrive quickly enough. And good for BBCA, getting a nice trailer out there for all us American fans... :techman:
 
Is the trailer in the OP on YouTube yet? My computer isn't video friendly, though YT works fine on my iPod. :)

The BBCA one is cool and I'm really looking forward to the new season. SPACE here is also showing a promo for the show now, though it's essentially the first BBC trailer with SPACE graphics peppered throughout. And interestingly, the new logo variant at the end is without the TARDIS icon.

How do you know they're not from the same episode? It's more likely there's an army of Daleks on Earth in "military" colours and some on the saucer in "original" colours, which according to the trailer does appear to be in the same episode.

I'm actually glad to see the original colour scheme. The gold Daleks were getting a little dull.

You haven't truly experienced Doctor Who until you've heard it in the original American. :D

I'm just glad we here in the States are going to be able to see the new season just two weeks after it starts in the UK, as opposed to months afterward like we had to endure back when it was airing on Sci Fi. I just wish my cable provider offered BBC America in HD. :(

I agree! Thought the trailer was the coolest thing ever until the voice came on and I cringed. The only American who sounds cool on Who is Captain Jack!

its the lack of a commercial mindset at the BBC, means they cant make good trailers, all the good trailer makers in the UK, are trying to make ITV look watchable.
 
I loved this little sequence

11th DR: Yes
Boy: You afraid of them?
11th DR: No, they're afraid of me.

Unfortunately, I'll have to wait a year or so until it shows up on PBS. BBCA is availible only in the highest cable package and I'm not paying $120 a month for it.

Also, was that Dalek colored olive drab?
