Looks to me like they're adapting DC comics' "The Gift". Looks like fun.
Will Sarah Silverman return?
Maybe?

Seven: It looks pretty similar to the last time I was in LA about thirty years ago
When did Seven ever go to LA?
She didn't ... it's a joke.
If that is indeed what is happening. I have a feeling the trailers are being edited as red herrings. I question how much Q has to do with the reality shift. Is it just me or does the plot in the trailer (Q changes the timeline, crew has to go back to 21st century Earth to undo the changes to the timeline, trouble happens, crew finally returns to present day, everything is back to normal and Picard has learned a lesson about himself) could easily be the plot of a 2 hr Trek movie or a 2 part episode, not an entire season?
She could be in a sanctuary district and that's where Picard helps her and where they become "beyond friendship and family"... it was never the SF cave in the 19th century, where he just sat with her, but him getting her out of a slum in the 21st!Now the question is: Will this be 2400 Guinan coming back to help Picard and his friends? Or 2028 Guinan still chilling out on Earth for some reason and running into that same time traveler again?

Whenever did Picard or anyone travel back in time or perform any other action to counteract Q's fantasies?
Eh, Scalzi's Redshirts is basically Red Dwarf's Back to Earth.Honestly, I'd be all in if instead of a serious dark story, it's just basically an adaptation of Scalzi's Redshirts.

Picard should give them some pointers.Regardless, I do like Seven and Raffi as a team, provided they don't bicker all the time. I assume most people in the 23rd century wouldn't know how to drive a car?
So in this alternate timeline, the Queen is held captive in a lab? Apparently the Queen can help them travel through time? Annie Wersching's casting announcement indicated a recurring role, but on the surface it seems like a limited one.
