New TOS discoveries in HD/DVD

Yeah, I guess he needed to find a precedent where a defendent was being framed by a computor and he needed every book in his library!!

But I love how kirk walks in his temporary appt and without even looking around he grabs a bottle of Saurian brandy and pours himself a glass. THEN he motices there is a person in his quarters with dozens of books everywhere.

Well, we all have our priorities.

Luckly for Cogley there we no women with Kirk, or NOTHING would have been discussed!! well..for at least 15 minutes!

Well, hey-diddly-ho.

Remember when "The Paradise Syndrome" (remastered) first aired, and we all got pissy because the deflector beam coming out of the obelisk had been changed to reddish-orange when the dialogue cleary said it was blue?

Well, guess what. I watched it on DVD this morning and it's blue again.

Huh..I will have to check that out. I actually liked PARADISE SYNDROME. I think Shatner does pretty good in this episode, and the babe playing Marimani (who I just saw last night in an episode of Hawaii Five-0, along with the dude who played Harry Mudd) is hot!!! Nice 'chest' regions...

So.... how good of a view do we get in 'The Omega Glory' when Sirah, Cloud Williams's wife falls and her skirt flips up giving a view of her Omega Glory?

Yup. I was because we got all pissy that they went back and fixed a rather glaring error.

One of the advantages of this sort of remastering stuff; you can do that sort of thing from time to time.

I saw that 5-0 recently too! And ya know, while I think miramanee is hot as hell, I strangely wasn't impressed with Sabrina Scharff in civvies.

Oh totally..she needed to be in her Squaw outfit. Hey, is she even 'native american' at all?? Because she didn't come off as native american in Hawaii Five-0

But then again? Wofat wasn't even chinese in real life. so go figure!!!

Oh, they didn't care about that stuff in the 60s. Half the time on 5-0, an Asian character was played by an occidental actor with obvious fake eyelids. Hell, Mark Lenard and Ricardo Montalban both played Japanese on the show!

I watched "Wink of an Eye" this morning. The scene where Kirk fires his slow-mo phaser at Deela provided ample evidence of the fishing line used to jerk the phaser out of his hand. In fact, it's there two cuts previous to the phaser shot; as soon as Kirk pulls the phaser off his belt, you can see the fishing line already attached to it. I never noticed it in lo-def.

And Kathie Brown is hot. He outfit is second maybe only to Sherry Jackson's. Must have given the censors heartburn.

The only cared if you violate their arcane rules: like showing the underside of the breast.

Watched "Elaan of Troyius" this morning; when Elaan flings her daggar at Kirk, you can plainly see the fishing line attached to it. This scene was obviously filmed with the daggar being yanked out of the wall, then the film was reversed in editing.

I can see the fishing line in the Trekcore screencaps, but never saw it before. I was too busy scanning for glimpses of Elaan's naughty bits, I guess. Another costume "feast"; thanks, Bill Theiss!

TV resolution IS now 1080p. Analog 480 is dead.

And now theatrical movies look better in 480?

I really do feel sorry for you, that every movie now becomes about the defects you can see.

In Dagger...... The box sent up from the surface is labled

Stockholm, Eurasia NE----I wonder what the 'NE' stands for

'Nutcase enclosed' ??

Feel sorry for yourself, pal. I'm just fine.

I think maybe this Grant guy is having buyer's remorse for buying a Blu-Ray player and the Blu-Rays of a show we've all seen umpteen times.
TV is just TV, so don't go getting all silly. I remember the hassle of stupid VHS tapes and all that. I should not be called a luddite for not wanting a Blu-Ray and being satisfied with DVDs!
Spend your money on whiskey and women rather than wasting it!

^Maybe he'll be going after CRA and Jonas now, for saying the same thing I was saying. The company would be nice.
