A lifetime.
Grandma watched the West Wing because Charlie Sheen's dad was smoking hot in Apocalypse Now.
Grandma has good taste.
The first 8 minutes of the Newsroom Pilot where the lead has a hilarious meltdown in front of a few thousand iphone cameras.
The scene on that youtube cut out before we found out that he was on prescription drugs for something medical.
Maybe "woke up" is more accurate.
But it's a variation of the "I'm as mad as Hell and I'm not going to take it anymore" speach from the movie Network, that Aaron already used as an inspiration in the pilot of Studio 60... both of which were meltdowns.
Sorkin likes speeches.
He wrote A few Good Men for ####s sake, of course he likes speeches.
I'm in the middle of season 6 here and is it just me or does it feel like Voyager is just coasting? Hasnt been anything memorable or inciting lately. Sure there's still good episodes but nothing stand out or moving.
I think S6 has plenty of good eps.
Equinox 2: well we had to see what would happen
Survival Instinct: gutwrenching episode
Barge of the Dead: not a fan, but a super popular ep
Tinker Tenor: EMH ep =
Alice: thought this a classic Trek episode, for better or worse
Riddles: meh, but it does give Tuvok fans lots of screen time
Dragon's Teeth: I always liked this one, nothing original but atmospheric
One Small Step: compelling
The Voyager Conspiracy: adored it
Pathfinder: Great stuff, this from the anti-TNG person. Tied in so well to what is to come and Barclay is oddly refreshing in a future full of the super people
Fair Haven: YES I LOVE FAIR HAVEN the captain needs her holo-man, hilarious lines
Blink of an Eye: ABSOLUTELY fantastic, one of the series best
Virtuoso: if you love the EMH a good ep, otherwise rather meh with weirdass hologram rights stuff that makes no sense on a starship
Memorial: I hate this episode, mostly for the conclusion which I totally disagree with. The ep itself is dull.
Tsunkatse: omfg the boxing ep, SAVE us from sci-fi's obligatory boxing ep
Collective: YES I adore this episode. We always knew there were Borg children of course, it was good to see and poignant
Spirit Folk: So shitty it is almost good, but not really
Good Shepard: can't actually remember this one at all!
Live Fast and Prosper: amusing
Muse: Classic Star Trek
Fury: aaaaaaaaaand over to Lynx
Life Line: awkward, the EMH goes home to daddy and everyone else is still stuck in the DQ
The Haunting of Deck 12: Could have done without this one
Unimatrix Zero: The idea is interesting, the execution is not so successful. Gives us some Annika insight though.
