Though don't expect her to remove her helmet.
Why would I or anyone else expect that? *Cough* Boba Fett *cough*...
Is this about romantic subplots in general or the fact that it's two guys?
Every Star Wars trilogy needs a romantic subplot. Han and Leia in the OT, Anakin and Padme in the PT, now Finn and Poe in the ST.
Shallow and poorly executed romantic subplot. I.e. a very poor imitation of ESB.
So there actually is a romantic subplot with Poe and Finn then?
So, Star Wars?
I'm mostly just talking out of my ass, basing it on the fact they seem to be the most logical romantic pairing at the moment.
A Finn/Poe romance would actually be far more interesting than the inevitable(?) and predictable Rey/Finn pairing. Therefore Disney won’t give it to us.
Is this the Spoilers-allowed thread of The Last Jedi? I didn’t think so.
How about no romance. Is that too much to ask?
Johnson handled that deftly though
That’s even better.
I'm not as enthusiastic about this as I thought I would be. I don't know. I have to see "The Last Jedi" first.
Especially since a Finn/Poe romance would involve two people of color, instead of one between a white woman and a black man. Right?
I honestly don’t understand if you’re trying to imply something but for me personally color has nothing to do with it. I didn’t even know (or care) that Poe was "people of color".
After just returning home from viewing The Last Jedi, I think I may have a very clear and concise opinion regarding the news that Rian Johnson will be making three more Star Wars films:
I do hate to be overly vulgar but they did say three.
Likewise. I hope this languishes in development hell.
I'm the complete opposite, I really enjoyed TLJ and can't wait to see what Johnson comes up with when he isn't held back by having to follow up on four other movies, or eight if you want to count the prequels and Rogue One.
