New Star Trek Prodigy PC and Console Game

25th anniversay and Judgment Rites... along with Ds9 Harbinger... and maybe Birth Of the Federation.

I wouldn't mind if those 4 games were remade with today's graphics. The audio files are perfectly fine... as is the point and click based gameplay... but imagine if we just got say up to date visuals while retaining the gameplay and sound effects?
All it would mean is basically give the games a modern uplift.

But at the same time, I kinda want NEW (quality) Trek games.
Would love it if Judgment Rites and 25th Anniversay were released for the iPad!

^^^^I meant the 1998 SCI Star Trek pinball pc game published by Interplay, the game we got instead of Secret Of Vulcan Fury. Lol

Ah shit, I forgot this just came out. I was gonna grab it to play over the weekend. Oh well, next week it is.

Edit: Just had a bit of a look at a playthrough on YouTube. Mmmm, I might skip this one after all. It does not seem to be a game I'll be satisfied with. It looks to be (barely) one step above a mobile game.

I’ve got to say I wasn’t expecting the £45 price tag. Was expecting £25-£30

I watched a playthrough. Phaser sounds like almost nothing, characters grunt and go ugh argh ungh all the time like recut Twain, camera seems to be fixed, no looking around or zooming in, and gameplay is very repetitive with always the same puzzles and battles. They do show a SF rifle and cannon that might show up on the show later.

I'm playing it on PS5. It's fun. Certainly seems like it'll add to the show's lore. It's still early yet.

I do agree the 'ughs' are plentiful and annoying. I wish I could turn them off. Voice cast is great as expected though.

That lookslike good fun, but as others have said, no way at £45! £20 in the Christmas sales, when it is dark outside and I've got nothing better to do, then fine.

I bought it from Base.com for about £32, though it's been a long time since I bought a disk copy of a game. :D

It's been a lot of fun so far, and the voice cast is great.

I was just really looking forward to playing a Star Trek game that wasn't online or freemium, especially seeing as Resurgence was delayed until next year. ;)

I'm enjoying the game on XBox (One) - I'm not far into the game. Chronologically, it takes place between "A Moral Star, Part II" and "Asylum". My main problem thus far with the game is that there is annoying bug - like 90% of all the recorded lines having the last word or syllable trimmed off.

It is very much a puzzle game with a bit of battling, but the writing sounds right out of the series. I did notice that the season one two-part finale is also titled "Supernova", the same title as this game. I'm wondering if the season finale title will be changed.
