The Publisher’s Twitter says they specialise in games for parents and children. Coupled with prodigy being aimed at a younger audience I’d guess that it will be.

I might still get it. Still not seen Prodigy but it starts in the UK on the 25th.

I'm pretty worried about it considering the track record of the company making it. They specialize in quickly made, buggy games that are mostly aimed at getting very young people to spend money.

But I'll be extremely happy if I'm wrong with my downer attitude. Prove me wrong, Outright Games!

Edit: It turns out that Outright Games are just publishing, and that the game is actually made by Tessera Studios. So just maybe this game won't be throwaway garbage after all. But it's still a "young audience game", so I'll keep my expectations in check. Not to say games aimed at kids can't be fun and good, but they do tend to steer more towards repetitive and unchallenging than I would personally prefer.

Found it. Yeah it looks pretty simple puzzle style game but that’s what I expected. Doesn’t look bad.

I know this game is targeted to children, but I think I'll still snag this game once it releases. Not only because I'm desperate for any form of video games for Star Trek, but also because its story is written by the show's writers. On that ground, I expect an easy and fun little Star Trek experience. Hopefully it'll send the message that Star Trek needs a proper AAA video game to round out the franchise.

I'm not 'desperate' for any Trek games, but I'll give the game a shot since I like ST: Prodigy.

25th anniversay and Judgment Rites... along with Ds9 Harbinger... and maybe Birth Of the Federation.

I wouldn't mind if those 4 games were remade with today's graphics. The audio files are perfectly fine... as is the point and click based gameplay... but imagine if we just got say up to date visuals while retaining the gameplay and sound effects?
All it would mean is basically give the games a modern uplift.

But at the same time, I kinda want NEW (quality) Trek games.
