New Picard SDCC Trailer

I think she's one of the Borg the Romulans were working on and she escaped.

There are Romulans throughout this trailer. The Guards in that Borg looking prison, throwing picard out of a Place, working on a body. Romulans messing with Borg tech was part of the ST09 Prime Universe backstory that Kurtzman worked on.
I think she's could be Picard and the Borg Queen daughter, that is unlike normal Borgs. She is Human with some kind of special ability.

oh god is this him?

oh god.

I hope not -- my quip in my initial response was meant as humorous (subcategory: sardonic nature) but the scene can easily be that of any Borg drone having the bits removed and it's another long lost Enterprise crew member.

Or it is Picard, it's honestly hard to discern or confirm. Makes for a semi-interesting teaser bit...

If Picard (and newly hipster diva 7?) dealt with the Borg again, and assimilated again - that could be argued as the dumbest thing the new show could try to do. But why not show what's not shown before and have a person assimilated and removed from the collective only to be put back and removed again? And could Picard's body handle it again?? That would be horrific, regardless of outcome. Small universe and fanwanky, sure, but who's the target audience again? But plenty of casual viewers do know of the character and enough of "the basics" of what happened to him...

And it doesn't look like a drone arm either. Unless the Borg now have a sleeker look --nope, I'm not thinking into this any farther. The teaser had me hooked, and the premiere will be held to its own standard and independent of the teaser as I cannot hold the teaser to the same standard, a teaser is not a full episode - much less a premiere.

Think this is him, very much blink and you miss it!
jonathan del arco mentioned in the panel that the makeup team did a life cast on him, this type of heavy applicance is consistent with that versus the minor borgy stuff seven of nine wears.

Given that the first major reveal is the dismantled B-4 body I get the strong impression that the young lady is supposed to be Lal. And as for all the comments about the Borg, there's a scene of what looks to be the interior of the ship being used as a hanger of some sorts, lends credence to it being a captured or abandoned ship that now serves as a base

That could be Shinzon.

Not that I'm expecting to see a lot of "Action Picard" but of course he's going to fire a phaser! This shot seems to be at the vineyard(?).

Looks like a Romulan disruptor to me

There are three members of the 'main cast' who are Romulans, so we are going to get a LOT of Romulans for sure. I have to imagine they are going to deal with the destruction of Romulus here (which I think was confimed by Kurtzman some time ago). Although I do wonder if it will be in the Short Trek that is going to take place just before the Picard Show.

So, the Admiral at Starfleet Command Picard's talking to, just a new character? I've seen some claims that it's supposed to be Nechayev, but that doesn't look like her to me, even taking into account the passage of 25 years.
