Just wanted to show off my first big cross stitch project of the year...

Noticed this building when in Toronto at the end of November and wondered what it was. Struck me as something you'd find at university but now in hindsight and the clock town - it wouldn't the old town hall?
Looks like I'm a little late to the party, but I figured I'd post the results of some of my idle time at work. Photobooth on the work iMac is pretty good at making me look like a douchey self-help author. But I digest ...

You look like Richard Hammond from Top Gear.
For some reason that I can't quite place, I'm getting a Steve Buscemi vibe - but RapidNadion would definitely be from the more handsome side of the Buscemi family tree!
Happy Anniversary! I told you before and I'll tell you again, you and your wife make a wonderful couple.![]()
Just thought I'd share this shot of Mrs.Q2 and I taken before we left for our 10th. Wedding Anniversary dinner (just before Christmas). Ten years, man, time has sure flown by (in a very good way).

Kira's Mom: That's beautiful!
It has been so cold here, in Central Oklahoma, that my pond has completely frozen over. It has never frozen so throughly that I was able to completely walk across it. Had my neighbor not been busting the ice, so his cows could get a drink, it would be smooth enough for ice skating.

What is maddening is that a lot of places want a graphic designer AND a web designer all in one. Our curriculum covered user interfaces and things like that, but never went over any HTML or CSS. That's what the Web Design & Interactive Media degree program is for. I guess a lot of places now want to save money by hiring one "jack of all trades" instead of specific specialists.

Looks awfuly "open" for good chain mail, but go-you dude!
There's only 23 rings there. I spread it out so it looked like I had more done. Now that I have a little over a hundred rings put together, it's starting to look more like it should:I was bored earlier, and I thought "You know what would be awesome to have that I don't? So I'm not the only one who thought that then again maybe he's practicing before he makes the smaller rings.
