drat. I liked the idea of Squiggy being a unapologetic prankster!![]()
It's the internet, stranger things have happened. I would ask Molly where she's posting from. Or simply ask if she's posting from the DC area (as that's where Squiggy lives).

Yes, Alexandria
no, I will not come meet anyone in person, you Trek people scare me
if any event this is resolved in my favor, I'd really like my MollyRoger name back
This is Squiggy...posting from his work computer.
I do have a Verizon phone but I hardly ever post on it because the LG EnV touch doesn't make the experience all the fun.
Do we have permission from the Mod to start an MA thread on this?
Mod permission isn't needed or given. My understanding is that if poster X gets an infraction, anyone can "contest" it in MA - not just the infractee. But this conversation needs to stop in here... once again, its way off topic.Do we have permission from the Mod to start an MA thread on this?

give me my account back and I will gladly follow your rules. I'm seriously not a trouble maker, but I won't stand for being smacked with a ban stick without so much as a "excuse me, wtf are you doing"?

yes, especially around the various entry paths
you don't even have to pretend to be gentle, lol
You live on a boat, Molly? You got more guts than me. I'm just this shy of seasick whenever I'm on one. Closest I usually get to the water is wandering the beach at Coney Island...

Note that this does not say that the thread in MA must be started by the person who was warned. However, it DOES state that whoever does start the thread does have to attempt to resolve the issue using PMs first. Only once that has happened can the issue be taken to MA.Posted by T'Bonz
From now on, when complaining about a moderator action (or inaction), the following should be done.
1. The person starting the M.A. thread must first contact the moderator privately about the issue and try to resolve it before opening a thread in M.A. If the issue cannot be resolved privately, only then may a thread be started in M.A. (and copies of the attempt to settle the issue via PM should be sent to the M.A. mod so that he or she will know that the poster may now start a M.A. thread.
2. A link to the post in question must be provided.
3. The poster must state why the warning is not deserved (or why an action should have been taken,) not demand an explanation for the warning or lack of action.
4. ALL posters, including the thread starter, must be reasonable and civil in the thread. No demanding an action, name-calling or dragging in other extraneous items will be permitted.
Failure to follow these steps will result in the thread being closed.
