Never seen TOS scenes...round 3

Warped9

It's been quite some time since we've had some "never seen TOS scenes" pics, and since then I think we've had some new people sign on to the TBBS who may never have seen any of the previous ones. And so I'm going to bring back and re-post some of the originals as well as endeavour to conjure up some new photomanips for members' viewing pleasure. Of course some of these may be familiar to you and some perhaps not.

I'm taking a chance of starting this thread here in the TOS forum because it is so TOS specific and because some TOS fans just might not venture into the arts forum. Also the pics have been known to foster discussion regarding TOS aspects and, well, this is what this forum is supposed to be about.

So starting off:

Before he was a superb starship commander...

Before she was McCoy's best assistant...

Before he was ship's Chief Medical Officer...

Before he was the best First Officer in the fleet...

(Edited to eliminate stretching)

The second picture, the guy next to the dedication plaquette, could that be Ron Tracy? Sure looks like him.
BTW, keep those pics coming (I'm getting addicted). ;)

Except that he's an andorian.

An Andorian huh? Now that I looked a bit closer, I have to agree with you. Still looks like Tracy with blue skin and antennaes though! Maybe the creator could shed some light over this. ;)

Love that Enterprise cross section on the panel above Leslie's future station.

Good stuff as usual Warped 9.

Oh...someone wants to talk to you...

"How could you leave me out Warped 9?"

Warped9, as much as I love seeing these you have to cut the size down somehow. The board rules limit the size of images you can post inline. Could you post thumbnails or links? Thanks!

In the meantime, I'm going to have to change some of the above to links.

Beautiful!

A pity that there is only one episode to draw Pike era material from, but the possibilities are still limitless.

WOW. It's like coming across a lost vault or something. Ever considered doing this for the Lost Era--post TOS-pre TNG?

Could be. Stay tuned. :D

Keeping "The Cage" aesthetic for a new era.
On standard approach to a new world.
The Captain and his yeoman.
The new Chief medical Officer on call.
A young Communications Officer reports for duty.
They should have had field jackets then too.
Studying a deadly alien creature.
On patrol.
Hitting the galactic energy barrier.
Orbiting Delta Vega.
An upgraded and detailed interior.
Resuming patrol.

Except for the occisional bit of humour I can't resist--such as the tip-of-the-hat to Forbidden Planet and Alien--I make an effort to keep the content of the shots pretty much consistent with what TOS, TAS and TMP established. Rarely if ever do I include any reference to poat TMP materiel. My premise is: what might we have seen from the original producers if they'd had more time, money and somewhat more sophisticated resources at their disposal? And perhaps a smidgen of foresight of about ten years as well. ;)

I must say I really rather like this image. Tweaking the bridge to look more like it did in "The Cage" somehow makes it look cleaner and somewhat more hi-tech. In some ways it evokes an evolutionary connection to the TMP era bridge in respects to the colour scheme and overall presentation.
