Re: Never seen TOS scenes...

Anyone remember the little known Pike era TAS? :D

Re: Never seen TOS scenes...

Nope. Maybe the fact that I was born in the 90's may have something to do with it. :D

The black and white pictures are magnificient. I'd really like it you could show us "colored" versions too. Just for a more "modern" perspective (by about two years .)

Do you think Kail would do a comic book on this idea? :D

Actually, I did plan a Pike era comic to finish out a trilogy of flashback stories. M'Ress relates a story from when she was on the Exeter, "Home Is Not a Place", Kirk tells a story from his academy days with his father "Like Father.." (which is now in production), and Spock tells a story about his falling out with his own father while serving under Pike. However, after "Like Father..." I feel I'd like to get back to telling classic cast Trek tales. Besides, "Early Voyages" did such a fantastic job with Pike's era, how could I compete?

Re: Never seen TOS scenes...

I have read all of your stories over at the website and I am looking forward to seeing George Kirk Sr. and Sarek.
Keep up a terrific work level.

In this thread, count me as one of the many lurkers who are AMAZED with all the fine jobs done here! Keep the pics coming PLEASE...lol!

Re: Never seen TOS scenes...

I didn't create it. I modified an existing image with fewer windows and an extended bridge dome.

Re: Never seen TOS scenes...

What if they either continued the story through the formation of the Federation?

Sorry, you can't post in-line images until you have racked up a certain number of posts, to prove you aren't an evil person who registered just to screw up the board. When you know the history of the place, it makes more sense. I tried to give you a hand, but the image has anti-leeching measures, so I'm not sure if it'll work right. It shows up sometimes for me, but not others. Your results may vary.

The federation was already formed.

I think the "Enterprise" story is what's being spoken of.

???? Hello! This is the Pike era we're discussing which means the UFP already exists.

Re: Never seen TOS scenes...

Whoops! Sorry guys. Didn't realize. Is there someone I can e-mail the image to (PM me)... it is just fun with photoshop and I thought you guys might enjoy it.

Again I apologize... way embarrassing.

Re: Never seen TOS scenes...

Actually, Japol, there's I started a thread in the TOS forum about members of later series fitting in TOS. Your Archer image fits with that thread (but I don't think Archer fits. He seems more like a petty bureaucrat, out from Earth to take over the Sherman's Planet project).

But... but we HAVE to plant the quadrotriticali SOMEWHERE!

:P

Re: Never seen TOS scenes...

My, my. 30,000 views. Originally I never would have thought I'd see it.

I'm working on some new stuff, but it's hard to get motivated during this (Canadian) Thanksgiving long weekend being spent on my own.
