Perhaps it's not Chekov's face but the ship diagrams that have been modified?

My apologies. But ever since I returned from vacation I've had a hurdle getting motivated to some extent. Also I rather feel like I've somewhat exhausted the possibilities with the images I have on hand. I've been focusing on getting set up for my own dvd screencaps so I could start on another run of enhanced images. Indeed I've been perusing my discs for useful images.
I'm also contemplating doing something of a photonovel approach to one episode (and perhaps more) similar to what I've been doing with my Star Trek: New Era concept but expanded.
My apologies, but please bear with me.

Using only stock footage available at the time of the episodes creation, I have come up with another shot to replace the "approch Barrier" shots reused in "By Any Other Name" & "Is there in truth no beauty?" and created this alternative.

I've always loved that one angle of the ship because it looks so damn big. You're right there between the necelles. It's a shame the power cord prevented more glory shots like that.

Sorry for the delay folks. But things are progressing a bit more slowly than I'd hoped. However, I've finally tracked down the hardware I'll need (I hope) that will allow me to connect my dvd player directly to my computer. I'll then be able to view the dvd's and get my own screencaps...hopefully. I've also identified the requisite software (if needed) and thankfully it's freeware.
This would all be so much easier if I could simply afford a new computer that came already equipped with the requisite hardware and software, but that isn't possible at present. Besides which I'm really very happy with my current iMac G3 and I'm loathe to replace until absolutely necassary...or if I win some lottery money wherein then I'd talk myself into stepping up to a sparkling new iMac G5 already equipped with all the goodies.
I'm as anxious as anyone for new images so please bear with me.

Actually, there was a graphic they made for Ilia's "intrusion" in TMP that would've worked perfectly for that scene too.
