The Satanic Temple is pleased to announce that the lawsuit it recently filed against Warner Bros. and Netflix has been amicably settled.
I completely forgot the holiday special came out on Friday and I've been busy until now, so I've only just watched it.
Nothing says "Happy Winter Solstice!" and "Merry Christmas!" like a séance gone wrong and a demon disguised as Santa who kidnaps children to make wax dummies out of them!
Wonderfully creepy story and I like how it's not a standalone holiday special, but instead weaves the ongoing plot arcs within the multiple storylines of the special.
However, I was surprised how quickly Zelda decided to give up Leticia, so quickly after, er, adopting her. I understand her reasoning after the events of this episode, but on the grand scheme of things, it seems abrupt. Considering Leticia is still with them at the end of the episode, I suspect something comes up during the second half of the season that prevents Zelda sending Leticia to Desmelda.
Good to see it's been renewed (although it's parts 3 and 4, not seasons).
They did set-up a conflict with witch hunters since Harvey's family is part of a long line of witch hunters (plus you don't bring in the great Michael Tigh for a one-off!) so I imagine we'll see more of that in the second half of the season.I've noticed that throughout the series, Sabrina and her aunts have been battling malevolent entities - demons, spirits, in this case, a demonic Santa Claus. Since the witches are devil worshippers, you would think they would fight witch hunters and, maybe angels?
