    Not a Christmas Special? :)
I suppose they would be worshipping Krampus there.

...well, if you read the article, you would've seen that the show's creator referred to it as an "X-Mas special" in his tweet. ;)

I’m just being silly. As one of the few who enjoyed it, I look forward to it. Sounds like it’ll go more into her parents which should be interesting. I expect foul play with their deaths.

Praise Satan (and Santa)! I binged through the first season in less than three days so this is a nice surprise.

Netflix's holiday sizzle reel features bits of "A Midwinter's Tale."

Netflix and Warner Bros. have already settled the lawsuit filed by The Satanic Temple.

Warners has confirmed the settlement, but declined to comment further.

TST attorney Stuart de Haan on Wednesday sent THR a statement: "The Satanic Temple is pleased to announce that the lawsuit it recently filed against Warner Bros. and Netflix has been amicably settled. The unique elements of the Satanic Temple’s Baphomet statue will be acknowledged in the credits of episodes which have already been filmed. The remaining terms of the settlement are subject to a confidentiality agreement."

Sweet! That's a lot sooner than I would've thought, but I guess it helps that's actually just the second half. Looking forward to it.

I figured it wasn't the end of the season yet but wasn't sure when Part 2 would start.

For Satan's sake, that's five months away!

I completely forgot the holiday special came out on Friday and I've been busy until now, so I've only just watched it.

Nothing says "Happy Winter Solstice!" and "Merry Christmas!" like a séance gone wrong and a demon disguised as Santa who kidnaps children to make wax dummies out of them!

Wonderfully creepy story and I like how it's not a standalone holiday special, but instead weaves the ongoing plot arcs within the multiple storylines of the special.

However, I was surprised how quickly Zelda decided to give up Leticia, so quickly after, er, adopting her. I understand her reasoning after the events of this episode, but on the grand scheme of things, it seems abrupt. Considering Leticia is still with them at the end of the episode, I suspect something comes up during the second half of the season that prevents Zelda sending Leticia to Desmelda.

I'd forgotten too until I went on Netflix for something else (which does appear to be on Christmas Hiatus) and it was showing at the top of the list.

I thought it was delightfully creepy and enjoyed it too.

I've noticed that throughout the series, Sabrina and her aunts have been battling malevolent entities - demons, spirits, in this case, a demonic Santa Claus. Since the witches are devil worshippers, you would think they would fight witch hunters and, maybe angels?

Good to see it's been renewed (although it's parts 3 and 4, not seasons).

They did set-up a conflict with witch hunters since Harvey's family is part of a long line of witch hunters (plus you don't bring in the great Michael Tigh for a one-off!) so I imagine we'll see more of that in the second half of the season.

I'm glad this is continuing. It's not quite as crazy as Riverdale but it's still really enjoyable.

They were brave in depicted traditional folklore. Traditional witches were sort of anti-nuns of mythology given that nuns gave themselves to Christ to be spiritually his bride. Witches gave their souls to the fellow downstairs to be his spiritual bride at least in the common Middle Ages Christian and Islamic understanding of the term.

You are correct one area where hopefully in future seasons they are braver in would be showing them in conflict with supernatural forces outside the current comfort zone (other witches, demons, etc.). I appreciate the mythology, but they have a wide door open to them with the decision to go with traditionalist witches. Conflict with other religions protectors like Angels is the kind of way to avoid too much pissing inside their own tent with gender conflict and conflict within Sabrina’s coven.
