Neelix & Kes

My train of thought is ridiculous.

I wonder if little Jennifer could have played the part of a boobie Borg? Either as kes/Borg or if she had never been cast as Kes flat out regular Seven of Nine? Hmm i wonder if instead of Annika Hansen just appearing from no where Borg enhancements could have explained Kes being recast using the actress Jeri Ryan?

Given this Hybriding, would that mean that Neelix would be ending up with Jeri's "character"? Or if Jennifer had stayed that this would have been the sexual consolation they handed Beltran in Endgame?

If kes had been given a Borg personality similar enough to the portrayal by Jeri, would the crew have put up with this "replacement person" (Oh more Tuvixing!!) as well as they accepted the Borg thing that was parading around in Annika hansens Patty Duke... Sorry, Patty Hearst much body?

I think they were stuffing Lien's bra to ridiculous enough levels already, they probably would have just forced her to get a boob job if she were to play Seven of Nine.

You know, I never really thought about an assimilated Kes. That could have been interesting. Having Kes turn on the crew in Scorpionafter being assimilated for her mental powers. It could have been a neat arc with Voyager getting her back, but her personality being twisted and cool like Seven's. The Borg enhancements might have been a viable way to stop her aging too.

And the Borg with her mental powers?

Sure, even their drones, become alpowerful but then they start to burn themselves out or they just forecast the drastic reduction in their longevity from becoming SO Ocampan that they conclude that with in 4 years this current generation of Borg will be no more, which might just force then to reevaluate their timetable and they have to assimilate all life in the universe in 4 years rather than 4000 years.

If the girls were "persuaded" to stuff their bra's then were the boys "persuaded" to stuff their draws? Oh, this could be so the marketing goldrush! Own your pice of history! the men of Voyager's codpieces! I assume you can buy Star trek Socks, if those uniforms people wear at conventions don't come with regulation shoes and socks...

then, her mental powers might have been extreme enough (Tuvok sucumbed.) to turn the tables on the Borg and the assimilie becomes the assimilator!? they could have crowned Kes, and then she had to woft off to oversee the dismantling of the Borg Empire... Now that would have been a fine farewell?

O.

Forgive me.

i just had the most horrid thought.

What if some one used Kes' physical characteristics for a character in fairhaven? I mean i'm assuming it would have been Neelix who missed her or Tom who was having an affair on b'Elanna and then the poop hit the fan? But there would be arguments betwtween "we miss her" to "how dare you desecrate her distinctiveness"?

From what we saw on screen, nobody gave a rat's ass about Kes leaving so I'm not going to assume otherwise. Therefore the possibility of someone making her a character in Fair Haven would be almost zero.

It would be a very interesting episode to see a lonely Neelix create a Kes hologram though.

How can a guy so covered in shag be so unshaggable?

How can a guy so dripping in fluff be so fluff repellent?

How come none of the other beavers want to play his beaver games?

Honestly, we had the scenario with assimilated crewmembers from time to time, both Picard and Janeway were temporarily assimilated and it became boring in the long run.

Still, it could have worked and it could have been an interesting plot too if Kes had been restored to normal later on (as she was in "Warlord") and if her lifespan had been prolonged as a result of it, it would definitely have been an interesting concept.

As for acting, I'm sure that Jennifer Lien would have been able to act Borg-ish too.

Now to get back to page one;

As for the relationshop between Kes and Neelix.

All that I can say is,weird, but interesting.

After a while ,it became boring..

I did like Kes and Neelix.better when they were apart, much better.

Kes is my favorite Voyager character, then comes Neelix.I kid you not.

well?

Did you like Kes and Tom, Kes and the Doctor or Kes and Tuvok any better, all of whom had there own special episode where their love for kes was kinda declared and then absolutely forgotten about.

While they're not my absolutel favorites, I too liked Kes and Neelix a lot, they were very unique characters and made Voyager what it was in the beginning.

Hello Hawk200, nice to see you again!

I agree with your statement. I think the Kes-Neelix relationship was OK in the beginning and there was a reason for that relationship too. In the long run it was obvious that it wouldn't last because they were too different and started to drift apart shortly after joining the Voyager crew. The breakup should have been better handled by the writers.

Kes is my favorite but I like Neelix too. :techman:
