I feel especially bad for Vanessa Redgrave. No parent should have to bury his or her child. And those poor boys. I can't imagine losing a mother at that age.

We all knew it was coming. After "Bernie Mack recovering" suddenly became BERNIE MACK DEAD, I've assumed that a celebrity health problem is usually going to be fatal.

I'm surprised Robin Williams is still kicking. Or maybe he's not. He could be on death's door and we don't know.

I am not very familiar with her work, but I will look into it, as she seems to have been very admired.

I feel sad any time something like this is reported, especially as it seems she had a wonderful and caring family.

If anything positive can come out of this tragedy, perhaps someone will remember this when they get a seemingly minor head injury... and choose to see a doctor, just in case, rather than risk it. It's very easy to shrug off something if there's no obvious visual sign of trauma... but it's not worth the risk.

Very sad indeed.
