Clue #2 The rest of the cast had an easy job in this episode. Several had a body double do their work. Those doubles gave perfect solid performances in their place and caused the director no trouble as they maintained platonic relationships. Call it serendipity, but the director was also happy to have no set damage from floods, landslides, wind or fire.

Clue 2 was trying to refer to "Platonic Solids", also called "Perfect Solids". Plato assigned the elements (now better called states of matter) water, earth, air and fire to four of the perfect solids and ether/cosmos/heavens to the fifth. The shapes of the reduced crew members resembled these shapes.
