1. Amazing that sonics make a good planetary defense system for ships in orbit...in space...in a vacuum. I guess the weapon is a form of disruptor (like a Klingon disruptor) which causes sonic vibrations in targets so intense that they vibrate nuts, bolts, molecules and atoms apart.
